I think this is amazing.

1) Patch notes on the same day means we get reading material for the downtime.

2) No video/tips/spoilers so far also makes me think SE wants us to struggle on this patch. If so, I am super excited.

Just tell me where the quests are, where the dungeons are and let us ruckus. Woot.

Actually I always felt this way when we got XI patch notes. They dont have to spoil everything...dungeon locations are fine though. Quests on the other hand, i'd like to search for em...although I am happy with the current quest log and how detailed it is. Its just detailed enough that they dont beat you over the head with where the quest points are located.

I loved it... no one knew anything at launch and it was beautiful... YG was necessary... Communities came together

Now with Pads, Pro, Mooglebox, YG, FFXIV-db....

We can find it all ourselves... recipes included
