Thoughts on overpopulation, crafting nerfs, housing shortages, and MB deflation.

My favorite is working hard to get the materials for something and someone comes onto the market to sell the same thing for 1 gil. I suppose I could just buy them out, but I always wonder why. Why did you sell that for 1 gil it gets worse though when the market is pretty good for something and someone undercuts by a lot! On my server everyone is pretty good with some of the craftable materials, and usually would sell about the same amount to keep the market the same. There is always that one person week later that drops the entire value by alot. The only good things I have noticed is usually they will leave that market within a bit of time, so I just stop selling and look for something else.

It is the worst I think with gatherables, because everyone is selling those. I have been sticking to craftable things because it is impossible. So if you're a sprout your boned when you try to sell you meager eft meats in hopes of getting some extra gil early on. On the up side at least when getting into crafting many of the mats are affordable.

These listings crack me up. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people listing things for 1 Gil and/or well under vendor price. They're literally losing money on the listing! If the difference in vendor vs. list price is enough, I'll buy them out and vendor them. Chances are the listing was a troll and there's no better way to beat a MB troll than to cost them money by buying their items out when the MB fees will be higher than the amount I paid.
