I know you're eager to let us explore the new content you've been working on the past couple of years but whilst queues are like they are not many of us are getting the privilege to enjoy the content and several are starting to fall behind already even though it's barely been a month since EW got released. Why the hurry to release new content? The queues had only just started to whittle down enough to not be stuck for more than an hour and suddenly new patch and content and the queues are back to where they were at EW release, what a big surprise. Slow down please, let us enjoy the game or at least get a chance to log into it first!

But that's the problem...right now people can't even log in and are falling behind. The regular schedule is not suitable whilst the servers are facing this kind of dilema.

"Falling behind" is not a thing in this game. Content is not going anywhere. At worst, by the time you get to it, tomestone gear, job changes, and whatnot will make a mockery of the original mechanics.

It'd be absurd for the whole world to wait for me while I make it through post-ShB and EW.

Unless they are a Savage raider, it doesn’t really affect them. Tomestone gear and normal raid gear won’t be going anywhere for 2 more patch cycles. So it would be extremely difficult for anyone to fall behind even with the queues.

And once again I'm practically told to shut up on a subject that many of my friends are struggling against and have even mentioned themselves that the content is moving too fast but apparently isn't an issue for everyone else who's been lucky enough to get online and already cleared everything within 24 hours. Typical forums. I don't even know why I bother. >.>

No, you’re just making a mountain out of a molehill and people are pointing that out.

Are your friends Savage raiders? If so, are they aiming for early clears? If your answer is no to both of these, then Savage having released on Tuesday is irrelevant to them and means nothing. Tomestones and the new Tomestone gear will be relevant for two patches, which is roughly 6 months. I doubt the queues are going to be so bad that they will be unable to get Tomes for their gear and jobs. Normal mode will be still be relevant as catch-up gear until the next normal mode releases—which, again, will be in another 6 months. The two EXs will be the only two primals for at least another 3 months until 6.1 and they release the next one. Dragonsong Ultimate will release then as well, but this affects even fewer people. And I’m sure by then the queues won’t be this bad.

The developers space content and patches out so much that it makes it really hard for even the most casual of players to “fall behind” in terms of gearing or anything with regards to endgame. The content that has been released now only really impacts the raid scene, and only if you care about clearing the tier early. If you and your friends aren’t a part of that, then the content is irrelevant.

Am I really? Normal raids were released about 2 weeks ago - it takes 2 weeks to get 4 pieces of gear from that which is BiS and you don't even get enough tokens for a weapon. Suddenly new patch is out and crafted HQ gear is better than the normal raid and the token weapon, which you probably still haven't gotten since you won't even have half the tokens for it. What is the point then in normal raids if you don't even get to use or even buy the gear?

Yes, you are.

HQ crafted is the same item level as normal mode gear. BiS entirely depends upon substats, but is also meaningless for anyone going for just item level. Which is most non-raiders. You can get 4 accessories from normal mode within the first week, a combination of head/gloves/feet at 2 pieces a week, or body/legs at one piece of gear for the week. And this gear will be here for a long time. Even if you miss a week, you aren’t that far behind.

It would be worse delaying content especially against thier normal schedule.

That won't fly with players no matter how it's explained and this may be an issue for another month until they get new servers (if they do)
