Rival Wings is completely dead

So those of us who never got the mount are just screwed then? Might as well just move it somewhere else since the community has decided to collectively abandon this content because they got theirs. Or I dunno, do the logical thing and put RW on the daily roulette already.

They can't and we all know it. The system isn't advanced enough to differentiate sizes needed. We have nothing in the game that suggests this would even be possible. More realistic is put the mount on the vendor or moogle event.

To differentiate *what* sizes needed? If you mean player count, Duty Roulette: Mentor can put you in 4-man, 8-man or 24-man duties of differing role requirements and with everyone being a forced Freelancer in Frontline, all you need is 72 eligible players for Frontline, which is only 50% more than Rival Wings.

The system in this aspect is in fact advanced enough. If you mean another reason / size, let me know.

That said, Rival Wings is in dire need of promotion beyond silly moogle tomestones and a separate Daily Challenge or one sharing with Frontline will definitely benefit it, short and long term.

The point I made still stands, we have rewards that are locked behind content that has been abandoned by the community, making they impossible to obtain. They need to either address the issue of said content not being engaged with anymore, or take the rewards out and make them purchasable elsewhere and consider this content dead and remove it from the game. Not release a brand new pvp mode that will only have the same issue.

What's worse about all of this is that nobody in this community seems to care. Nobody posts on the pvp subforum which is insane and the reason I made this thread because nobody was talking about it. For a month or more, I was playing Rival Wings with good que times. All of a sudden, the community just decides they don't care about this content anymore and collectively abandoned it, leaving me with eternal queue times and no means to get the mount that I had been working towards. People got theirs and just dropped it? Really? That's goddawful. I cannot get this reward anymore, there is nothing I can do about this because both the devs and the community doesn't give a dam.

There needs to be a solution or they're saying they don't care that they have unofficially unobtainable rewards in the game now.
