Sigh, and now the new crafted gear is reused as well :/ At least it’s dyable i suppose.

Wow give the devs a break, they have to deal with server congestion, getting patches out in time making and developing a content, keeping the game balanced while being in a tight budget, and your problem is reused assets?
People who complain about gear designs being reused are the same people that would instantly glamour over a unique looking set anyways.
I was shocked by the amount of sets that were being reused (Shire gear being reused recently in patches and then reused again on expansion release).
Then the patch released today and the crafted is again reused. At some point, you have to draw the line.
The devs have had a break. They had 6-7 month delay for this. Yet we still had a mass of reused gear and even lost out on a gear set for the 89 dungeon. All people have done is give the devs a break and what has it resulted in? Shoddier and less content. My problem is a constant downgrade in content while the game continues to pull in more money and players.

I'm moreso worried about all that players are willing to defend. We continue to shrug and give these things a pass. At this rate we'll come to accept all future dungeon gear being reskins, tome gear being the only new designs, or naturally embracing the fact that we have higher level dungeons giving just accessories. I really don't want this to be what's in store for us, especially when the devs can't do so much as shuffle the reused gear around onto different jobs. I loved the pvp dragon themed set for MNK/SAM and always wanted it for DRG. Seeing it on a caster or healer would've been wild and a break from all the robes.. So much for that.
I could be remembering it wrong but was this not how DLC started? Testing the waters to see what they could get away with and see who would buy into it until it became a regular thing? My thoughts keep going towards us heading to this, but atm I do feel that it's too early to tell and this could just be a coincidence.

This would fall within "making and developing content", no? Maybe they could make us some new armor sets?
I'm glad some of you realize SE has been pushing the community to see how far it'll take being milked for money. I dont know why the only thing that crosses the line is not having as many armor looks, but I'll take it.

Outside of the Story (and I have more than enough gripes with the story and pacing) the whole Endwalker experience felt really average at best.
I should add, I speak from my personal view.
Dungeons were probably the worst case of corridor dungeons I've have seen from FF14 to this date
Bosses felt lackluster and under utilized. (Magus sisters and Anima especially, seeing them just broke my heart, 2 of the most famous bosses and they end up as fodder for the first 2 dungeons)
The music score was also all over the place. (I dont recall what cutscene had it, but there were 4 music transitions in 1)
The gear is just a joke, most of it is just a recolor of older gear. (If you gonna do that, just change it up a bit, add some pieces to it so it looks the same but different)
The new zones are bellow average, nothing interesting going on in them, its just again a vast field with few points of interest dotted over the place. (One slight exception is Elpis, it has some detail and elevation to it, and its not as bad, but its still pales compared to anything StB, HW, ARR brought)
We get again 2 new "cities" and calling them cities is really a stretch, more like small towns.
Radz-at-han should be this massive city by the artworks and pretty much the center of commerce, what did we get ? couple of corridors, 1 plaza and 1 field-ish place before the palace.
Sharlayan is even worse, it should be this city with thousands of people in it, heck their "outpost" was bigger than the main city we got in EW, where do people live ? are you saying to me, that this whole city lives in 6-8 homes in Labyrintos and 6 houses in the "City" proper ?
the more expansions deep we get, the worse this becomes, the story quality goes arguably up, but the rest just goes down.
