No one works every single day. So do it on your day off.Not everyone is a NEET who can play the game in early morning or late at night. I have a 9-5 job like most normal people. Since most normal people cannot use their fantasias, it's business malpractice to actually sell them. If I sell a vacuum cleaner that only works when it's 3am, I deserve to be sued by the customers. Why is it OK in a video game?

That isn't really how I operate, but yeah, it wasn't life or death or anything. Character data seemed to be unavailable from about 5:30ishpm EST - 12am EST here.

My experience shows that the best queue times are pre-noon EST on weekends (so it would be around 9am PST). Weekdays are a bit better before 3pm my time (CST)—so around 1pm PST; since that’s when the east coast peeps start getting home from school/work. Granted, most schools are out now, so it’s mostly those that work jobs with a fixed day schedule that are logging in around then. When I tried to log in around 4pm Saturday (2pm PST), I was in a 3,000+ queue for Cactuar.
There’s also a nice drop off after about 12am EST most days—Fridays and Saturdays less so; but I actually dc’d during the level 89 dungeon last night around 11pm CST (9pm PST), and managed to only have a queue of roughly 300. But my friend had disconnected about two hours prior to that and was in a 2,000 queue.

I've been able to let myself AFK, and just log in via a queue going into the afternoon, with only a few hundred in front of me in queue here. It's been quite a bit better. I know someone in one of my Daivadipa parties DC'ed in early primetime and it took them like an hour to get back in. I don't know how large the queue gets here, but not that large anymore. Aether got hit hard by the WoW exodus. My experience shows that the best queue times are pre-noon EST on weekends (so it would be around 9am PST). I'd argue that being a housewife or especially SAH parent would qualify as employment. Not all of us at home are just lazy slobs.
Me, I'm just disabled. >< and a housewife.
Queues before 3pm on my server (Phoenix EU) are pretty negligible. My experience shows that the best queue times are pre-noon EST on weekends (so it would be around 9am PST). I mean they put this in cap locks. Should've read the fine print :>

The General Forum is not customer service.I have been stuck trying to Fantasia my character for a week now. I used the Fantasia but whenever I log in, it tells me that to reduce server congestion character details cannot be displayed... So now I'm stuck in limbo unable to actually edit my character. I just sent $10 down the drain because Square Enix, a multibillion dollar company, can't build their servers so you can use Fantasia when the servers are stressed. This is just completely unethical. Do not sell Fantasias to people when it's impossible to use them. What is worse is that support has told me that my Fantasia CANNOT be refunded. I will be leaving a 1-star review on the Better Business Bureau website for Square Enix.
