My issue with a new job connected to hunting Blasphemies (though the idea on its own is cool) is that it ties the job to MSQ progression, which they haven't done since HW- and the new jobs unlock 20 levels below the expansion that they introduced in, thus the job quests for said job have to be, at least at the start, something that works with the lore and zones of previous expansion. (For instance, SAM not going to Kugane until post 60 because hypothetically the WoL hasn't gone there yet, or how various jobs like RDM will have different lines depending on if Ala Mhigo is liberated or not.).

However, I do like how the Blasphemies and Dynamis have re-contextualized what the DNC do and the Kriegstanz.

Well we are fortunate that they established lore about people researching Dynamis in current time in Endwalker. This does lead into concerns that there could be people who always been aware about people's ability to turn into Blasphemies but was much hard before the Final Days to happen.

Not to mention, as you said, this also goes back to Dancer Job story so we have some kind of lore that shows Blasphemies were still a issue before the Final Days but so few that hardly any knows they existed except for Dancer Job people.

This also means that there could be other jobs that have dealt with the early Blasphemies before they became more common due to events of the Final Days.

Demon hunter Job may provide such lore if SE ever consider it since if that is a job for a new location for Season 2 we don't know about yet, that region may have a different name for Blasphemies being Demons thus the name Demon Hunter being given to this Job. This type of Job may end up also explore the darker side of research into Dynamis with its Job story quests.

    ----------------------------------------

Beyond a introduction to a Job related to hunting down Blasphemies, SE may explore into Dynamis research as well. We know very little about how the progress of Dynamis research is. Endwalker only introduced to us that there are people in the world researching Dynamis despite being few in numbers due to lack of proof Dynamis exists. However, the Final Days may have skyrocketed support for these people and their Dynamis research.

Not to mention the potential light and dark side of Dynamis research and what they may have discovered through their different paths of research into Dynamis.

As Dancer job quests shown, there were some signs of Dynamis creating some kind of minor Blasphemies before the Final Days. It will be no surprise if a Dynamis researcher went into a dark path involving understanding the creation of Blasphemies before the events of the Final Days due to what his or her research lead him or her to.
