What sorts of hairstyles would you like to see added?

Hideous idea, totally against this. SE shouldn't have to go back and waste their time fixing race specific hair to work on all races. Why go back when we can just look forward and have more new options?

We want new hairstyles. I'm not seeing any long haired, tied up options. This hairstyle would look amazing on all races.

I just want my Viera to be able to use all the non-race-specific hairs we already have. I was playing around with the character creator the other day, and pulled up miquote. Holy crap, that race looks like it has every hairstyle in the game. Then I go back and look at my list and it's like...yeah.

I'm still allowed to state my opinion on your idea and why it shouldn't be implemented. I'm very against the idea of removing race-lock so I don't understand people's obsession with making all races the same when that would be a very horrible idea.

You've been asked for any hairstyle and your immediate reaction is to remove race lock? You want SE to spend their time alternating pre existing race-exclusive hairstyles instead of spending it bringing in new ones? It's a waste of time. Think bigger.
If you want Elezen or Roe hairstyles, switch your race to either of those races. You're not bound to play a Lalafell.

And I never suggested that only hairstyles I want should be implemented. I like people suggesting unique and genuine ideas, you know, bring something productive to the table? 'remove race-lock' is such a bland suggestion.

More braids and ponytails. More curly/wavy hair. Even more variations on some of the styles we already have. That one braided ponytail fem Miqo have would be great without the weird spiral bits in the front imo.

French braids. We kind of have a pigtails version of it, but would like a ponytail version as well. Just more braided options in general would be nice, there's so few. And none that viera can use.

Outside of still wanting to see a few NPC hairstyles added to the PC choice list (Hilda for example *grumble, grumble*), my biggest issue is just a lack of diversity. It feels like we have a lot of choice if you just look at numbers, but once you actually look in detail you see that it's very heavily weighted by just slight variations on the same 4 or 5 styles. More ethnic hairstyles and more diverse hair styles would be massive, even if I don't know how many I would personally use.

Another huge thing for me would be styles that have both hair over the face/eyes AND at least mid length hair in the back. We have (some) longer (or at least shoulder length) styles, and we actually have a decent variety of styles that have hair over the face or eyes. But we have almost none that incorporate both, which is a major personal preference of mine. Maybe it's due to some sort of tech limitation (only X number of polygons allocated for the entire head of hair or something) but it's been a pain for me since day 1. I'll see a style from the back that I love and see nothing but a bare forehead in the front. Or I'll see nicely shaped bangs in the front only to see the back might as well be shaved for how short it is. Argh.

I'd like to see both large and small ringlet curls. Tilly's hair from Star Trek Discovery is exactly what I want, for anyone familiar with the character, but I would welcome any somewhat defined ringlet styles.
