i think you've hot some times mixed up here. prae is 45-55m, whereas CM is 20-30m. the xp discrepancy is due to both a shorter length and lack of a boss fight gauntlet.
personally I think they should just be split and you should be able to run both everyday for a bonus if you want, thus stopping people from leaving CM at the beginning and also letting people get their movie in when they want for the daily boost.

This pretty much. If they upped the xp in Castrum Meridianum, you'd have people trying to avoid Praetorium completely due to it being too time inefficient.
