i personally agree anyone who does this is selfish and deserves to be reported and this absolutely needs to get fixed. i dont want to run the same stuff everyday.. its annoying

I've been dropping whenever the CT raids pop up. I'm tired of them. I wish i could just blacklist them from the DF.
As someone who does do this I would be fine with it being against ToS, but the larger issue is how can you tell who did it? Currently you can take off all of your gear and queue and instantly put it back on. So if nobody sees me do it how do I get reported? If I join the raid in full level 90 gear who is the wiser that I did it? To me that needs to be solved before you start smacking people with the ban hammer.

Leveling jobs takes long enough already, we really dont need to nerf the exp gained from alliance raid across the board. IMO we need a 'buff, dont nerf' approach here. But I'm glad we agree that the balance of time vs reward between the different alliance raids is off.
Why should you, someone who isn't playing the roulette properly have more of a say about what's being played then me or anyone else who is doing the roulette properly?@Baxel, I think not. I LIKE crystal tower. You want to run something else, then queue specific. YOU don't get the roulette. *I* am fine with it.
I didn't have any interest in any of the others and only begrudgingly did copied factory for the materiel crate.
Why should I be forced to do content I don't want because you're stuck doing content you don't want?
You wanna do Crystal Tower queue for it directly and stop cheating the system and forcing other players who actually play the game into your snore fest.
As I said the roulettes should be locked based on Chr level.. if you don't have the stuff unlocked for your level then you can't join the roulette.
Heck while we're at it sure let's adjust the rewards.
Lv50 Tomestones 0 exp as normal
Lv60 Tomestones 25 exp increased by x.5 from Normal
Lv70 Tomestones 100 exp increased by x2 from Normal
Lv80 Tomestones 150 exp increased by x2.5 from Normal
Lv90 Tomestones 200 exp increased by x3 from Normal
Again with the changes that you can't do roulette if you don't meet the unlock requirements of having all 3 for the level you are unlocked.
And then, when people drop out of Level 50 because they'd rather have the higher levels (i.e. Prae and Castrum), what is your answer then? Why should you, someone who isn't playing the roulette properly have more of a say about what's being played then me or anyone else who is doing the roulette properly?

That's presumptive. You may prioritize tomes, but I don't. I kind of don't care how many tomes I have if I had to repeat the same listless grind to get them. And I also don't care how many tomes I have if I get to repeat the Shadows of Mhach or Dalmasca raids because I think they are fun. The rate at which I get tomes generally does not affect my enjoyment of the game because I view it as a holistic experience, not as something that I spend 99 percent of the time merely enduring to reach my endgame quotas. I'm sorry you find the game so boring. At the end of the day you want tomes. And if I can get them in half the time with next to no work I'm going to do it. Sure I'd rather get more xp if I'm leveling, but even then I'd rather hedge the safe bet. It's not up to me to come up with a solution. It's the corporation we pay our subscriptions to.
It may not be up to you to come up with a solution, but you're not helping matters by stressing and exploiting what systems are in place to maintain fairness. Like I said before, laws and rules can only do so much; all institutions designed to help us self-organize and coexist will have flaws, failings, and loopholes. So you're not really being clever or insightful by pointing out the obvious and the inevitable. You may not have an obligation to be actively constructive but this is a pretty wantonly self-serving stance to take.
Again, I have to reiterate. Stepping back even a bit and looking at how obsessed so many people are in this game with "levelling" ... as if the mere, tedious, soulless act of grinding is and should be the primary aim of this game. Is that really something you want to defend? Do you actually find enjoyment in that or have people developed a sort of Stockholm syndrome with games that drag them through level grinding?

Void all the rewards for the rest of the day?
But i would alter it slightly then:
lvl 50: 100 tomes per run, lvl 60 150, lvl 70 200, etc.
The daily cap is simply just 300 tomes. But the rewards to carry over to the next time you do a raid (not just 1 day, but more like a week or month).
If you then get the level 90 one with only 50 tomes, it stacks the remaining 250 to the next day. so you instantly get those regardless of which raid you got. If that for example is lvl 50, you get 300 (100+200 carry over), and still get another carry over of 50 which is applied the next time.
This way the lvl 50 one could be anoying, but you can still guarantee your reward. And maybe if you get 2x a lvl 50 you then make the 2nd run always grant the remainder of that day as a sort of graceful act in order to avoid having to run it 3x a day.
Maybe taking it even further. Each day the pool gets 150 added and caps at 1000. So you arent required to do one every day to get the rewards.
