Hackers still rampant despite multiple reports - Please give visibility on this.

Hi,

We, the PVP community, have been constantly reporting these players of hacking yet we still somehow see them in our games and are still hacking to this day.

It's very weird how I see people instantly get banned for saying the "F word" but cheaters are still playing the game normally. I understand that the demographics for PVP is very low so there isn't much interest here but this injustice have been going for too long and I must reach out to the mass for some help here to gain traction on this since SE aren't taking any actions.

Cheat: The cheater isn't affected by cc.

Detail Explanation:

In this video, the range player on the far side used Leg Graze to inflict Heavy on the cheater MNK which supposes to slow the movement of the MNK by half but the MNK is unaffected. The far side range player then also use Foot Graze to inflict Bind which supposes to root the enemy and stop them from moving completely but the cheater here is still running freely.



After a few seconds, you can see these buffs on the cheater MNK here. This is a mechanic in PvP. After you have been inflicted with some CCs, you will then have a resistance to that CC for 10 seconds to prevent you from getting the same CC again meaning that the target was indeed inflicted but unaffected with the effects beforehand.



In PvP, it is entirely possible to ignore these kind of ccs by using Fetter Ward which is an additionals that melee can bring into matches. These have 60 seconds cooldown and is very powerful. As you can see, the target were not using Fetter Ward the entire time yet ignoring all the movement CCs.

The target is also inflicted with Silence which prevent the player from doing anything besides moving and they get Silence Resistance afterwards as well but since the video doesn't prove anything on this I can't accuse the player here.

This is a very well known hacker that was first known hacking since 4/15/2021.
This video was recorded on 11/13/2021 by one of our PvP streamer. We are still getting reports from other pvp-ers that they are still hacking to this day yet the cheater is still playing like nothing is happening.

Please, I need all your help to gain traction on this since SE have been turning a blind eye to this. I have alot more video proofs as well and have some other names beside this player here that are ruining our experiences.

PVP has long been sullied by hackers and cheaters and botters and so on. It's a joke.

dont hold your breath. the crafting/gathering community has been reporting cheaters using bots for YEARS, with in depth reports and... crickets.

reality is, 4 people isnt nearly enough to investigate reports on the Japanese servers, let alone any other region of the planet

Oh, I know... Housing too. Bot use is rampant for many communities, including PvP.

Empowering senior members of the local GM team does seem viable. GMs who played the game might help too.

They did finally do something about the party finder ad spam after someone remarked about it in one of the interviews, so maybe somebody needs to just raise awareness of the rampant cheating to someone influential in the community so they can properly emphasize just how bad the problem is next time they can get in touch with the devs directly.

As long as PvP stays unmoderated, not even the 6.1. Changes will improve anything on the side of PvP content.

Cheating in FFXIV PvP is quite the normal thing for years, there is also plenty of them in Feast for many Seasons now, getting away with things every time, keeping the exclusive rewards only for themselves.

My favorite are the warriors who Holmgangs the split second I hit sprint. Or the plethora of people who’s target switches to me soon as I target them which is a known tool some of players use, knowing when someone is ‘looking at them’. Cheating is becoming rampant in pvp. Sucks the fun right out of it
