Alright. Here's a stories galore I've encountered in the span of single day; yesterday, to be exact. I'll try to keep it short (you know I always fail with this ):

1. Qitana Ravel - As a RPR
   Paired with a WAR, SGE, and another DPS that I cannot recall. SGE did not slap Kardia on our WAR despite being asked several times after every pull and boss encounters. The last time they asked before last boss I added: "WARs don't need Kardia :P lul (this is a compliment!)". Apparently this jolts our SGE to wake up and finally use their Kardia. "Omg I'm fired." they said.
   
   After we cleared that SGE suddenly DMed me outside dungeon saying something like "You can block me so you don't have to deal with my trash play anymore.", which to my confusion I ask them how did they come to this conclusion. We ended up talking nicely about what actually happened: turns out they are sleepy Don't be sorry, sleepy SGE. All that matters is you are aware & know better next time to try your best to not let this happen again. Make sure to get your needed sleep, too!
   
2. Innocence - As an AST
   Got this via NR raid with my friend who's leveling their SGE. The party consistently fails to recognize the marker I given out to the tethered adds. We ate up to 3 stacks of debuff so I asked the tank to LB through the ultimate attack. Survived with around 40% health remaining. No wipes so whatever. /shrug
   
3. Vanaspati x3 - As a NIN
   I ran this 3 times to grind my NIN's level.
   First run: again, Kardia-less SGE. Viewed their search info, they have a WHM at lv90. They're clearly not new to healing dept. Although unlike their cousin I've encountered earlier in the Ravel, this one is totally silence & performs marginally worse. To make matter worse, our MCH also single targets everything. Packs are dying ever so slowly. SGE drops dead at last boss around 45%. With the help of the PLD trying their best to sustain me we still made it without wipe.
   
   Second run: a WAR, DNC, and SCH. This DNC immediately partners the WAR instead of me, their co-DPS. They only realized this after first boss by saying "Who would partner their tank instead of their DPS party, couldn't be me. I need more coffee...". Legit, I thought they were trying to meme.
   
   Third run: paired with the infamous meme of couple tank-healer. "First time healing this." said the WHM. My co-dps is coincidentally another MCH who also doesn't AoE outside Bioblaster. Jfc, I guess I'm really cursed today with all these pugs!
   To make matter worse, this WHM really had no clue how their kits works. It's as if you're being paired with a boosted WHM back in ShB's holminster moments. This MCH didn't help either by telling "Keep Medica II & Regen up on your hubby!". Why... for the love of God... after all those previous runs I don't think I have the energy to correct anymore: I choose silence, besides adding "Do not forget your other tools like Tetra (lv60), Benediction (lv50), Asylum & Lily heals (lv52/76)".
   At the very least, I think the WHM was legit trying... I'll give them that. The run took 29m to clear; honestly I thought it would be longer than that.

PLDs.... y'all reached at the very least level 87 in the lvl 87... why. are. you. using. clemency. at. 90%. health?!
do you not see the haima/panhaima on you? do you not see the regen? do you not see the overshield?

I don't know about in the present build - but in the past Clemency was pretty much your top AoE threat move - as it could lock aggro on mobs even out of range of any of your AoE moves. Was this moment during a wave of adds?

Was it repeated? I've hit things by accident before, a lot of people do.

While you are correct, I am working off of them saying 'again', as if it has happened before.
Maybe none were their fault, but I always work off of a 'If I'm having troubles; I don't spread it to other players' mentality in any multi-player game. So it baffles me when others do not.

If I'm having lag issues (thankfully it's not too common) it's frustrating for me to play. I can only imagine how frustrating it might be for those around me in a dungeon, raid, etc. So I just don't play much, if at all if I'm lagging to the point that I'm going to be a liability.

If one more Sage overwrites my various different shields again, I may lose it.

I barely use Eukrasian Prognosis, and yet - without fail - the rare times I do, it's immediately overwritten by the other Sage within about 5~7 seconds ticked. Use Kerachole? Overwritten! Use Haima? Overwritten! Use whatever the regen thing is that I haven't memorized the name of? Overwritten!

Please stop. Please use your eyes and check if something is up on people before using yours. I'm able to easily see when a Eukrasian Prognosis or Kerachole goes out and avoid overwriting them, why is it so hard for every other Sage in the game to??

I remember now why I didn't like playing Barrier healers before. qvq

I don't know about in the present build - but in the past Clemency was pretty much your top AoE threat move - as it could lock aggro on mobs even out of range of any of your AoE moves. Was this moment during a wave of adds?

Was it repeated? I've hit things by accident before, a lot of people do.

during pulls where they've already established aggro
they also should've realized that I have no problem keeping them at high(er than I'd keep it with a friend or tank that knows they won't die because I'll heal them in time) health and alive with my abilities
when I levelled PLD I barely touched it because I had trust in the healer and if they couldn't keep up, I still had HG to not die instead of having to resort to clemency myself to full
the PLD that made me post that also clemency'd during their burst phase, and funnily enough, didn't use clemency when they were at kinda low health
they didn't even proc divine veil or anything with it either and even if that was their goal - the next heal of me thrown their way would've procced it too!

I just don't want any more "why it empty" PLDs anymore, please yoshi-p!

First time posting so be gentle.

So I queue into vanaspati as GNB with my friend on SGE. Just need 2 runs to get to 90 and can help my friend max his sage at the same time right? No big deal. My expectations where thusly shattered when we find ourselves 40 seconds into the first wall-to-wall with the mobs barely at half health. It was when we realized that we had burned through most of our healing resources/mitigations and noticed that the mobs were not in fact dead that we suspected something might be wrong. I die 10 seconds later, get rezzed, and manage to limp past the pull. Innocently I put out a "hey guys I think our dmg might be a bit low, that pull felt like it was taking a while" and was met with silence. While I wasn't using a tracker (my friend was though), I had no worries that anyone in their right mind could take it as shaming based on 3rd party resources; the astronomically long length of that pull was evidence enough. Sure enough, my friend told me that his logs showed that I did more dmg than both of the dps.

On that note I introduce you to tweedle dum: the DRG who uses jumps to communicate in leiu of words and his friend, the MCH scarecrow who just wanted to be a real boy (or some other related fairy tale). To give an example, when we got to the pull where the family transforms, I manage to squeeze out a "DRG use jumps" in between a GCD, hoping that being a tad more specific would help our aspiring dragoon press a single button other than his 123 aoe combo. In response, the dragoon retorts with the clearest essence of petulance I've encountered in my time playing this game; his first (and only) spineshatter dive followed by 3 sonic thrusts in a row. The MCH also chimes in with... nothing other than his impression of a sack of potatoes, because neither of them have since said a single word since the duty started.

Yada yada we get to the 2nd boss, I tell them to roll on loot (no idea why they complied), we vote kick the DRG. I had half a mind to kick the mch as well but my friend was just done with it and I can't blame him. I had a mini heart attack as i see our replacement dps also turn out to be a DRG, worried that it was our illustrious friend come back from the grave, but it ended up being someone else after all. Immediately we feel the difference next big pull as I only need to use half the mitigations I needed to prior, no thanks to our MCH friend, proving that indeed, one only needs 1 DPS in vanaspati to not be huffing glue to reliably clear.

If you play any of the swole races, you're practically obligated to have some form of golden speedo or thong glam. It's the law.

Yesterday, I joined an in-progress Trial Roulette for The Mother Crystal. This seems to be a daily occurrence, we have a lot of new people still completing MSQ and this one seems to throw them for a loop the most. While the mechanics are pretty repeatable, I know for healers it can get dicey during the light wave phase which doesn't leave much room for error in terms of deaths/raises.

A healer joined, and immediately was in ALL CAPS repeating mechanics and becoming downright abusive. The three new people apologized, saying it was their first time but every death and raise came with this healer spouting off horrible and derogatory remarks, belittling everyone and saying how laughably pathetic the party was. Did they wipe four times? Yes. Did I stay the whole time to help? Yes. Did I complain? No. I had hoped for a quick roulette and be done, I didn't get it, but I know how hard it can be being new to a trial, learning mechanics, still dying and trying. There truly is no need for such nastiness.

I honestly think people would have less of an issue with this fight if they did it with the Trusts. The most common issue right now is having half the party running like headless chickens which ends up messing up every mantle/crystalize mechanic.
