Gear that Deletes racial features needs to not be a thing

Please bring back the ear pockets (which I always thought were charming) and the ear holes, and stop taking away my tail!!

I want to enjoy glamour and jobs without worrying about my character's bodyparts being amputated!

I feel like capes hiding the tail is a better alternative to the tail just clipping through it.

There is always an even worse alternative though... Evenstar Coat was a thing...

As an Au Ra player I run in to this problem I can't use Moonward Mail of Fending because it hides my tail. No armor should hide your tail if you have one.

I have no issues with ear pockets or having them clip through helms. I have no issues with my tail clipping through a cape. I picked miqo'te for their features, yet almost all the new gear models remove the ears, and now they're doing it for the tail. If I wanted to not have cat ears and a tail, I would pick a race that didn't have them!

Reading through this thread, I don't see how anyone with a problem with this could NOT want a "Hide/ Show tail" option.

It's really the best "please all sides" option, cause even if you don't personally like a handful of gear taking away your tail or don't mind the ugly clipping, there are clearly people who don't feel the same.

I don't see a problem with having a few chest pieces that have a cape hiding the tail, there are already a fair few that clip for those that prefer that.

There is also already a character in the story that hides their tail so its not exactly lore breaking.

Ideally there just wouldn't be clipping or something, but I'd say if you don't want a race that has a tail and everything that comes with it (including clipping), play a different race. Most people picked the one they play for the features it actually has.

The reason this is an issue is because it's a sudden change. They've never hidden tails on armor just because they clip before.
