(I was not an education major so this was kosher.) Except instead of being an anthropologist studying other cultures, he was a educational sociologist studying informal education in our own culture.

The fisher quest, on the other hand, was a spot on assessment of the fear that a non-tenured professor feels when they don't have their current research project completed. That one hit way too close to home. PUBLISH OR PERISH

Edit: And the metalworking quest is pretty spot on about the petty backstabbing in academia, now that I think about it more.

The whole of the Studium quests reminded me all too closely of real world academia. I've only recently regenerated my soul post-grad work and didn't need those needles jabbing at me again. No lie though, I also got goofy grins at times from warm fuzzies related to that time as well.
