Dark Knight Sustain/QoL needs to be addressed.

It would seem that WAR is heading towards some significant self-healing nerfs. I would have thought that this would be an appropriate way to offset those, while restoring balance to tank invulns at the same time. The 'penalty' would be trivial to manage on WAR.

WAR selfsustain does not seem to be much of an issue that is discussed in the JP forum, I only see it here so I don't think it'll be touched tbh.
Also WARs were able to Burstheal throughout the whole of ShB, granted we needed our burst damage up for that but it was not that much of an issue to have that. We expected a nerf then and there but nothing happened.

I do agree that they have to look into DRK def cds tho because as it is now it doesn't compare with what the other tanks have to offer.
As it is now it's a major pain to heal DRK through wall to wall pulls, Boss fights are fine.

Seriously, I don't get. WAR has always been the self sustain tank yet every single time a new expansion comes out people are ALWAYS surprised by WAR's self sustain like it's something new.

It's barriers are stronger than The Blackest Night total.

Warrior nearly does double the healing than GNB/PLD and 4x more than Dark Knight, don't you think that's a little over the top? Further expansions, Warrior wouldn't even need a Healer anymore, may as well just do Triple DPS, or 5x DPS.

No I don't, WAR is the simplest tank self sustain is the only thing it has to set itself apart.

Bro, it seems like you’re going to have a tough time with this so let me explain it this way. Devs like to do as little work as possible, example - DRK. So they can buff and balance three or nerf one and, probably, buff another. It’s the path of least resistance- your op job will be nerfed at some point so go do an extra of your favorite run and enjoy it while it lasts. It’ll be ok.

WAR should obviously be the self sustain tank and be strong at it,
I really wish chaos cleaves worked like og steel cyclone and inner beast but anyway
just make its cure potency like 200 or something still incredibly strong especially since war can force crit heals but not broken like now.

It really doesn't in Trials/Savage Raids, TBN is a lot more effective in content hitting much harder, and HOC/Holy Sheltron are greatly overestimated on their capability for those kind of content.

Sheltron heals you for nearly 20% health on top of having strong mitigation. How is it not leagues above 25% temporary hit points and no mitigation?

It's a regen vs a hard shield, regen isn't going to save you if you're already dead, or close to death.

Sheltron didn't really do anything than make shield blocks guaranteed. It's only got 12s Regen, and a 4s 15% damage reduction addition to help level Paladin, with it's lack of mitigation.

I turn your eyes to Warrior, that can heal at any point when needed, Sheltron cannot be held, nor spammed.

I've literally never seen anyone die to a TB when they have a HoC/HS up, this hypothetical situation where the MT is just sitting there with a sliver of health staring at incoming and doing nothing is just academic. You not only have the tools to avoid being there in the first place (for one you use HoC/GS actively outside of busters) but also are still able to recover during the TB window.
