Stop saying "I can see everything just fine" when colourblind people say that a fight isn't easy to see with or without the colour-blindness settings. Apart from those settings often making everything worse, it's just plain rude. I'm so glad Asphodelos 3 looks just fine for you, Susan, but that has nothing to do with anything.

Some ridiculous PF drama during an extreme:



I took the brunt of the other player's rage because I didn't go out of my way to hardcast raise them when they died. I know exactly what killed these players anyway: a consistent failure of mechanics, and a shield healer not actually shielding anybody, and barely healing for that matter. What do people want? Me to burn through all my ogcds AND cure 2 - which I HAD to do at one point. The tank was taking so much damage and not being healed by the other healer. I had to start spamming cure 2, and I couldn't even save that tank, because I had to waste a benediction previously to save a DPS (supposedly I wasn't healing). Keep in mind to have to start spamming cure 2, I have to burn through everything else I have healing them. Sure, whatever people want to say. Cure 2 spam on an extreme farm party lol...

Yeah, so what if I wasn't going overly out of my way to heal stupid? The other healer wasn't even doing their job in the first place. I guess they forgot we had two healers, since I was the one being solely criticized. By the way, I had to solo heal a decent portion of the fight at the end of the second pull.

I'm not colorblind and I still hate looking at that fight. It's all red on orange on red with bright flashes all over the place. It hurts.

Took a new character through Sastasha for his first time today, a tall Xaela dude. Every other party member was a tiny lalafell. It felt like I was chaperoning a field trip of blood thirsty toddlers! We cleared it pretty fast too.

Yeah I wouldn't wanna be anywhere near a party with them. "I use swiftcast for dps" and not wanting to raise says it all honesty - Especially in pug groups with randoms.

To be fair, most toddlers are bloodthirsty. They call it the Terrible Twos for a reason.

Swiftcast doesn't actually offer you anything that makes it must-use. It's fine if you need it for movement, but that's a crutch you're probably better off without in most circumstances. If you're not needing to move, then it doesn't actually give you any extra damage. With the exception of course in niche scenarios where using it would allow you to get one more glare off just before the boss jumps away or whatever.

As a RDM, there's not much more annoying than healers who obsessively use swiftcast on cooldown for no reason and thus shirk all raising responsibilities onto us for... reasons.

You realize in that fight - actually both fights - you do have to move often, right? I do use it for that purpose. I also play RDM, it's literally my main DPS, but would you rather lose out on a dualcast, or have me over here trying to hardcast raise a DPS, because EVEN IF my swiftcast hadn't been on CD, I would have had to raise another DPS who was dead... Then I'd have to do it yet again, when they decide to run an ice into eachother. It's not like the other healer was hard raising either.
