You need to have those weapons just to do palace of the dead and heaven on high so it's basically a requirement to not lock those classes out of an entire type of content

Generally speaking the best you can hope for is they may add one or two shadowbringers glowy trial weapons when they do that like how gunbreaker and dancer got a shinryu weapon

There's only one reason they got the shinryu weapon while getting skipped on everything else. Don't bring up this argument when it frankly is moot.

If they get a Shadowbringer trial weapon, it's going to be from an Ultimate from here on out. Not even worth the effort to even hope on jobs getting older weapons since they skipped it completely unless necessary.

Pretty sure Scaevan Weapons (lvl70) and Cryptlurker Weapons (lvl80) have been added for them.

Also previous expansion weapons are there so the job isn't gimped on gear and forced to get scammed by crafters for millions of gil. Pretty sure that's obvious?
