After spending some time to think about it, I don't think there's a plot hole because that involved one-way time travel. G'raha's journey also changed the timeline so much that he would be completely unable to return to that branch even if he wanted to.

Though then again, how did Biff manage to get the Delorean back to normal 2015 after giving his young self Gray's Sports Almanac yet Doc and Marty go to an alternate 1985...

This is likely the case. If you notice the time loops we've had, they've always required the target going back in time and then returning to their normal destination. G'raha's journey however, was a one way trip not only through time, but also space, breaking the normal rules of time travel we've had.

The plot hole is that G'raha's timeline appears to be exactly the same, but everything that happens in our timeline is precipitated by WoL going back in time to Elpis, and there was no WoL alive to do that in G'raha's timeline. And since that timeline was the original and effectively created our own, this results in a paradox where neither timeline should exist.

A paradox that somehow makes sense if you go under the assumption that whatever happens, is supposed to happen. That you cannot change the past because it was always going to happen that way. Meaning G'raha going back in time was always going to happen, and the alternate bad future will always exist because it HAS to exist for the WoL to survive just to go back in time to make the events at Elpis happen. Confusing? Yes it is. But so is the "Chicken and Egg" stable time loops, and people tend to accept those.

to make a comparison its like Zero escape where multiple loops need to happen for the good ending to occur. for ff14 those are the crystal tower, alexander, shb and elpis.
