Please adjust Female Keeper of the Moon Miqo'tes upper teeth

So this is something that has been bothering me for quite some time now, my character who is a Female "Keeper of the Moon" Miqo'te has a very sharp V shaped upper set of teeth. I thought it was the same for all the races and genders but I have discovered that, that is not the case. Turns out not even the Female "Seekers of the Sun" Miqo'tes have this problem, only the Female "Keeper of the Moon" ones.

I haven't seen this as much of an issue before, since it has not been too common with close up cutscenes where you actually can see your characters upper teeth from below. But as of late, with the Shadowbringers and Endwalker expansions the cutscenes has become way more professional with a lot more close-ups and interesting angles. That being the case, the instances where you actually can see this "teeth issue" has now become way more common. So much that it really has started to bother me.

I’m actually a bit torn after one of the last cutscenes in the quest "Endwalker" where this issue made my character look quite silly. I really felt like it ruined a lot of feeling from that emotional moment. This was not the only moment either playing through Endwalker where a cutscene were "tainted" because of my character's strangely shaped upper teeth. It sorta looks like she's making weird facial expressions.

These pictures does not do justice to the problem in comparison to actually watching the cutscene where everything is moving, but I added them anyway to at least give an idea.

So please SE, please adjust the Female "Keeper of the Moon" Miqo'tes upper teeth so they won’t have such an aggressive V shape. There is no need for a total revamp I’m only asking that Female Moon Miqo'tes at least get teeth that looks as good as everyone else's. It would really really(!) mean the world to me! I have played the same Moon Miqo'te since ARR and I really don't want to change that.



Also, I do understand that this is very much a minority problem since it's only affecting one single race/gender/clan, but any support to get this fixed would be greatly appreciated! <3

I hadn't noticed that. I always liked keepers fangs, I guess I never really noticed in comparison to seekers teeth. Seeing those spoilered images does remind me of another thread from awhile back..

Nope, they don't. They look fine in comparison to the other races.

Yea, I really like their fangs as well. I was actually really shocked when I found out Sun cats didn't have any. I do suspect however that the fangs might be the reason why Moon cats got these V shaped teeth to begin with, it was probably to compensate for the extra polygons they added for the fangs. But I do believe that even if my theory is correct it's quite outdated at this point and can be safely updated with out any significant performance loss.

Vertices are a budget.... I believe it's because the more pronounced moon-fangs have taken the extra vertices the Sun uses to smooth the curve.



But I'd have to rip the model to make sure, and well, that's naughty and against TOS, so I will just guess it by looking at the geometry and imagining where the vertices are.
