Sneaky Ninja Update SE - Legendary Fish being added back in? +Other items

It's been reported several times that certain items in the game have data files but cannot be found. Well in the update to the recipe page yesterday these fish made a re-appearance!

Sea Sand Dinichthys Fire Shard x4
Sea Sand Titanic Sawfish Fire Shard x4
Sea Sand Sunfish Fire Shard x4
Sea Sand Mazlaya Marlin Fire Shard x4
Sea Sand Megalodon Fire Shard x4
Sea Sand Giant Squid Fire Shard x4

Also there are other items that seem to be being added in for gathering classes. It's nice to see

if this is true I might give a damn about fishing other than as a supply of infinite shards and currently useless crystals

I missed that when I went through the info. Very cool to know and a real blessing for culinarians. There was also the caver Cherax for river sand that was added.

Can you imagine catching 3000 of these tho XD..
Also there only saltwater fish are in Limsa all the other two nations are freshwater so i think its a bit rough.

I thought those fish were already there (in game), just not accessible.

Currently: Sea Sand = Wind Shard (x4) + Mazlaya Marlin
After patch: Sea Sand = Fire Shard (x4) + Mazlaya Marlin

I really am hoping that they add higher grade nodes for all DoL, but could be that they're only just changing those recipes (along with many others) for future use. I'm on edge!

They are in the data files, but now they have updated the recipe which means the possibility is there that you can catch them.

If they weren't or won't be available they would have removed them as "Dated" recipes.

I do hope so, but I'm always wary with SE @_@ tired of grinding rank 5 nodes for 200 exp >.< Or maybe they'll just add those to the existing loot tables, which is still nice something.

SE already has recipes with these fish listed on the official lodestone recipe list here:

They are most likely listed because all sand recipes are getting changed from using wind, to using fire. I doubt this means that these fish are being added. It would be nice if they were but... looking at information we have to us right now I am not counting on Fishing to get changed much this patch if at all.

Hopefully they do early patch notes tomorrow or Wednesday so we can see though!

What about breaking Clusters into crystals SE ?
