Summoner Radiant Aeigs

So I noticed that one of the traits SMN gets allows for accumulating 2 stacks of Radiant Aeigs.

This evidently is a pet move that gives a shield.

However I have NEVER seen my carbuncle use it. Even when I have purposefully been watching for it I have never gotten a shield, nor can I manually activate this action.

So does the pet actually use this and I just never see it? Like not even a buff icon? Or do I have to do something to get carbuncle to use it?

Radiant Aegis can be set to the hot bar and you do have to use it to have carbuncle activate this effect. Carbuncle must be summoned though and avaiable, meaning you are not currently summoning Titan, Garuda, Ifrit, Bahamut or Phoenix.

Ahh I see what was the problem

There are 2 radiant aegis buttons

1 is under the pet actions table in your list of actions which says explicitly that it CANNOT BE ASSIGNED to a hotbar

the other one is under the arcanist section that CAN be assigned to a bar

I was looking at the pet one not the arcanist one.
