My collection of short stories.
#1.
I am tanking, mostly oblivious to everything. Suddenly, I am Rescued.
WHM: "Don't stand in the wind, it damages you"
Me: "But it makes my hair wave all hero-like!"
#2.
We are in manor with first-time sprout. I am a sprout with completion. With us are two veterans. We just kinda silently agree to let the first-timer do his thing and explore.
He approaches the barrier and stares at it intently for some time. Then turns around and looks at us casually standing downstairs. Then turns back to barrier. Some time passes, then he finally concludes:
"I think it's locked"
Had a lovely run after that.
#3.
Got into Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak.
Got first timer, me with completion, two veterans. Familiar setup, but those veterans start groaning about horrible roulette draw instantly.
Along the way to the boss they begin getting impatient and decide that if they are DPS, it does not stop them from pulling packs.
Fine, whatever. I can handle healing overwhelmed tank.
Then the final boss happens. Knowing how long the cutscene is, I've snuck out silently to grab a snack from kitchen. When I returned - Lo and Behold - two DPS are fighting the boss, I am pulled into arena and tank is watching cutscene.
We wiped.
Reminder, the respawn point in that dungeon is FAAAAAR AWAY. And you have to run through -mspeed floor.
By the time we *almost* reach the boss, tank finally finishes watching cutscene, blurts something about being sorry for the wait and rushes into arena. And dies. Alone.
So now we are waiting for tank to run through green mile. In silence.

Garuda expert.
We had at least 4 sprouts first-timers, including me.
Fight starts with jolly old "enjoy the ride" and instant pull, as per tradition of sprout mentoring. Wipe of the final phase due to certain feather being killed.
Three wipes later and it's sprout trying to explain the mechanics, while veterans groan and start getting impatient. Tank snapped and went on insulting spree. Apologized later.
I've explained to sprout tank what target marks mean and why is there is a STOP sign on the feather. Somehow nobody bothered to explain it to them before and it took a sprout in fight full of veterans to explain it.
