Can people PLEASE stop running aoes into me. I swear to God.. SAME MECHANIC, except this time the person wasn't griefing, I think they were just panicking and ran into MY SAFE SPOT last minute. Jesus Christ. You'd think by level 90, and as a mentor, people would know that it's not nice to stack your aoe and kill us both. I was standing still. I was safe, you were safe. You didn't need to run into me.

I typically commit to a direction and stick with it. Anyone who follows me only has themselves to blame. I'll be honest though, it seems like it's not working as well as it used to lately. People seem hell bent on going in whatever direction I choose. Even if I stop to let them keep running, they stop too, annihilating us both. I'm not sure what the deal is. lol

I feel like some of this is that the servers are more overloaded than usual.

I can see, on my screen, that I've headed west and someone else appears to be chasing me, and I'm thinking "AUGH WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING ME?" But the person who's seemingly 'following' me, on their screen, shows me following them and is probably thinking the same thing. A friend and I killed each other this way, and both happened to be streaming for friends to watch at the time, so we had the rare opportunity to see it in action from both sides; on my stream, he was clearly chasing me while on his stream the reverse was true.

Normally there's a difference but it's very small, so I think people tend to react quickly and split off. With the servers under load, it seems slightly more pronounced than usual, and on both streams it looked like the second person chased after the streamer at the last moment, far too late for us to react to it.

I've had this issue 3 times, almost in a row, with different duties today. I get an aoe, I run to the side, someone chases me and doesn't move the other way despite me being ahead of them, meaning if I don't pop Sprint I'm basically doomed.

Indeed, this game is best when you make liberal use of the blacklist feature. If I get even the faintest feeling of annoyance or creepiness from someone I just stick them on the list and move on.

To those kind RDMs, SMNs, and Co-heals that’s willing enough to resurrect my subject in the name of helping your healer or whatever their intentions are… I beg of you, if you see me about halfway into hardcasting a raise, please…

Please don’t dual/swiftraise them in my stead. I will either waste 3-4 worth of GCD doing absolutely nothing useful and/or ended up wasting 2.4k MP per failraise.

Sincerely, your healer who had to hardcast raise 5 times in 3rd floor of new normal raid and 5 times also the RDM decides to throw in their dualraise.

I think Duty Finder was telling me to go to bed last night, and not finish Pandemonium 4.

Get in there to run it blind, mostly new group, and WAR pulls instantly. Okay, I can deal with that as DNC. Would have preferred a 10 second count at least, but whatever. At least once on each of the pulls - which was 4 or 5 attempts, sometimes more than that, the WAR would walk into the death wall...and asked what they failed to be killed. That group didn't clear it. Queued up for it right away after we abandoned it, and 1-shot it. Didn't die myself in the second group, and only died 2 or 3 times in the first couple pulls of the first group(also ended up as MT for a little bit when both tanks died...as DNC).

After that, thought I would finish a few challenge log items(commendations, roulettes, and dungeons) as SGE. Got Cloud of Darkness for normal raids...and that was the very first time I've ever healed a 80 normal raid. Nothing much to note here, a few deaths here and there, one for myself stepping into the vines AoE.

Then did a 50/60/70/80 and got Snowcloak. Thought to myself "Okay, this will be quick". Boy was I wrong. Tank was doing good pulls, I was keeping them up, and everything is fine. Until the Yeti. Tank didn't freeze any of the spriggans unless it was by accident with them spawning behind. When a snowball formed tank would hit it in random directions. SAM would keep killing spriggans. BLM just attacked boss and the ogre dude. I even said that the spriggans should be hit 3x with the snow blast, and the snowballs need to be aimed at the yeti for maximum damage. That took forever. I essentially checked out after that, even contemplated leaving at that point, but the rest of the dungeon no matter what is quick, so I stuck through it. I couldn't leave the duty fast enough when it ended.

I was pretty bad a few days ago in the second Endwalker dungeon. I read a guide, but just couldn't execute the second boss and died early on along with the other two DDs.

And then something magical happened... the Paladin tank soloed the boss all the way. We just cheered on. It took an age but was still impressive to watch. Makes me want to get my PLD up to 80 ASAP! After they were done they said "man I miss the damage on my WAR"!

Simple one this time:

Got Kugane Ohashi (aka the Stormblood Hildibrand Trial fight). The fight goes pretty well up until second phase. Then I get chained alongside two others. The other two get freed, but no one helps me, so I got dropped to 0 at the same time the main tank ate the floor (because I was Off-Tank). So the boss got to rampage through the DPS and healers for a little while until the healers got us up.

After that "Chomo" thread they made that got banished to the Shadow Realm, I'm hesitant to believe even one word out of them.
