Well, these cross-class actions got me upset.

In the end it was SE accepting the fact they failed at job system planning. You see...the plan was MRD is flexible for solo/small PTs and WAR is specialized for full PTs...MRD can cross-class at will and WAR would have no cross-class.

Then they changed a bunch of class actions into class exclusive and announced that jobs would actually require 2 classes, already leaving clear you already would cross-class from one class.

Now we gor classes extremely limited regarding cross class actions and they actually allowing jobs to cross class 2 classes.

The sequence of class nerfs and relaxing of job restrictions announcements just reflect SE also is afraid of what holyomen posted...and what we are seeing in pretty much every cllass forum...they are afraid that jobs won't reach the expectations and will become worse than classes.

I so won't judge jobs now and even after 1.21 because i already am expecting them to fail...but i'm already curious to see how they planning to revert this...maybe job WSs will deal damage like the good old WSs (like maim, doomspike, victimize, etc)...maybe they will be really cheap regarding TP...i'm not really sure.

IMO the jobs will only reflect their real potential after the said poll planned for after 1.21 and after at least the first balancing patch...before thes they might just be a complete crap that might become potentially dependent of AF effects...just like some jobs were in XI. I do am expecting AFs having a very big impact at job performance.

They never, ever, said jobs would not be able to cross class at all.

Expecting =/= having opinion regarding the matter. By expecting them to fail i just mean i won't be surprised if ppl keep using classes for endgame stuff after 1.21.

people can keep using class but jobs seem to be very good top of that i think they should make all 8+ man endgame stuff Job only meaning you can't enter as a class you know it only make sense seeing how class=solo/low manning and job=full party/endgame.
