In From the Cold was one of the best mmo quests I have ever seen (spoilers)

I think the duty echoed the feeling of the entire area. War torn, uncomfortable, weakened, and desperate. I wouldn't say that I enjoyed the duty itself.... not my preferred play style at all, but I did enjoy the fact that they added something completely different and suitable for the area and the situation. I was really concerned that I would have to watch my not-self kill a scion or someone, and was desperate to make it back. So overall, I enjoyed what it did for the story. I think the entire zone was really cool.

For those that liked it make them sub quests that is not any part of the mainstory. Can't stand it when they force you to be another person with only 3 to 4 ability functions. They should ad doption for those type of quests ask if want skip them or play them.

They added very easy mode for the rest of you.

I generally don't like them either but this time they did it right. We were given strong reasons for why we were experiencing the story in that body with its limitations and it provoked a lot of emotion that I don't feel when I'm stuck playing random Scion with plot armor who is going to succeed in beating the duty regardless of what happens in the cutscene after.

I'm 100% sure you were not supposed to enjoy that experience, it was supposed to make you frustrated, upset, and desperate to get back to being you again.

I was frustrated and upset alright, at the devs for this quest. the point of the quest though was to make you frustrated and angry at Fandaniel. I never felt anything but pity for him though.

It was kinda annoying when I kept dying, really hated it but now that I look back, it was a pretty good and an interesting quest overall. I like it.

And that thrill of finally doing it, love it.

Lalafell Zenos was the most terrifying thing I'd ever seen. Fantastic quest.
