Just a couple things. Lots of people do PP and try to win with nothing to gain. No achievements, no xp, or rewards. They enjoy trying to win. The win trader thing is probably way overblown. Except when you are talking a few hundred globally a few make it look bad. What no one seems to discuss is the players that have 10+ characters on boards across data centres. Again not a big deal, except again in the context a few hundred globally.


I think SE is frugal and it is easy to recycle if not outright reuse old assets. Some of the new gear sets in EW are already reused.

For years RMT (including cheaters) have been grossly rewarded for top rankings in PvP.

Do not mistake PvP with ultimate Content. There was SOME win trading and cheating in pvp, yes, but it is nothing compared to the 90% of players who RMT'd their 3 Legend titles.

You will not get this Stuff. Yoshi P also said in public interviews that old SEASONAL Feast rewards will never come back. Achievement stuff from the Feast will be carried over into the new System same as the Hellhound Weaponry.

Busted my ass so hard to get Top 100 in Season 19 as a new PvPer who had never set foot in the mode before. Was literally nolife-ing that Feast queue and streaming to my phone so I could listen for the 30 min tank queue pops. It was a six week journey of highs and lows, epic throws and comebacks, 300 point holes and winstreaks, and lots and lots of discord rage and drama. I was very close to giving up several times, but I stuck with it and was hugely relieved that I made it into the Top 100 at season's end. The armor, in addition to looking absolutely sick, is a cool memento of that journey and whenever I run into a fellow S19 PvPer in the wild, I give them a /laliho.

Honestly, if SE decides to make Feast ranking rewards available again, it would leave such a sour taste that I would have trouble justifying subbing to this game anymore. I don't love FOMO more than anyone else, and I can dig if SE wants to try to new reward systems, but The Feast contract was "Now or Never". Are you going to renege on your promises, SE?

I think the old Feast Armor should become avaiable as a reward for the new incoming PvP mode, but in a way, that it gets a different name, as well as either a different color palette (for example, only the cloak of the Season 18 Chestpiece being dyeable, and the rest isnt) or it becomes straight up undyeable.
That way, Eloboosters, Wintraders and the totally legit Top 100 Players keep their badge of Honor which can be then distinguished from the "worn out" Version of the Armor.

The same of course, should also be applied to the Mounts, just give it a different coat of Paint and you can easily tell from where it is from. This kind of Stuff happens (and works without any major complains btw) in many aspects of the Game already, so i fail to see why this hasnt been inplimented yet.

I doubt we will get the armors or recolor of armors since it'll give less incentive for older PVP players to actually level up the battle pass PVP is getting

They are going to release freshly exclusive rewards with the new crystal conflict mode, you should be looking foward to those (which I'm sure are going to be very cool because they'll want to bring as much incentive as possible to the new mode).

I think both approaches are respectable here, but I'm more on the side that previous rewards shouldn't be made available again, because it will cheapen the exclusivity of both past rewards and future ones (as it'll set a precedent).
