Clearly that's not all it did, since if you look at the post above yours you can clearly see an instance that it was used to heal us during an active duty (The heal is even called Blessing of Light) in fact during that same duty the light forms a shield that protects us against Ultima weapon's Ultima spell, (which would have eliminated us) so where you're getting off with the idea that it only protected us from the influence of primals is pretty wild.

It was Hydaelyn's doing not the spells.the spell is just a protection against primals corruption. You just missed this part in the msq where it was stayed clearly.

The heal is literally called the "Blessing of Light" so clearly it didn't *just* protect us from aether corruption, even if that was the main purpose of it. That much is also explained in the msq.
