    Having optional difficulty for casual content like dungeons, as not to limit them to scenic facerolls, is not among the reasons people are "fleeing" WoW.

    Hell, it's hard even to argue that WoW's gameplay is broken. Its content? Its reward loops? It's dev communication? Its sense of community? Sure, those are all easily argued enough. But its gameplay is no less solid by any objective measure than XIV's. Heck, the only major differences to its actual gameplay is that it relies more on mechanics than on button count, the netcode allows for higher polling rates and a generally smoother and more responsive experience in movement, AoE damage is dealt during animations rather than snapshotted when its zonal indicators disappear, CC remains fairly relevant, there's more utility than simply amounts to healer GCDs saved or bonus % damage over a given duration, its healers actually have to GCD-heal and have actual healing mechanics rather than just a given flavor of ammo or potency-recovery system, its tanks have more agency, and its dps are far less rotationally rigid. Those aren't necessarily positives, but that's about the sum of the differences, for better or worse.

    What OP really wanted to ask: "Will there ever be raiding content that satisfies me?"

    To which i can only reply, idk how the heck should we know? What even is "true" raiding content? When new alliance raids come out they are fairly hard and people time out and wipe constantly! Savage is also really fairly hard. Ex trials are good for people who want to raid but not too much and Ultimates are 20 minutes of hell which you have to do all over when even just one of your 7 other teammates do a small mistake.

    So yeah, we don't know if there will be ever content which makes you happy. But maybe stop pushing your narrative of what is true and good and you want onto others.

    We have optional content called extreme , savage and ultimate . Unless someone is a triple legend their complaints about this game not being challenging enough is null and void for me.

    Heck I haven’t cleared a single ultimate myself, I am happy with extreme I play on a console, that’s one the thing wow doesn’t have to deal with, button bloat is nasty on console. There too many variable here , you want mythic dungeons go back to wow.


    Also wow game play is broken because it rewarded elitism and toxicity which build up over the periods of many years and now it is complete shit. I remember my dungeon experience in wow and when I come here 6 years ago even on normal dungeons you have sheep that and CC this and that. Fuck that and fuck that game.

    The game attracts the community base on game play, wow game play is shit because it attracts toxic shit people , not the cat girl type dancing on Limsa ,my first experience on Limsa was pure joy.

I swear to god, the "traumatized" players that come from WoW and disregard any kind of feedback for ffxiv and treats it as some kind of oasis where no new ideas are needed are worse than our regular white knights.

    I for one never played WoW and although I do enjoy the game's fights, I wouldn't say no to more variety or trying new things, ever.

    lvling dungeons maybe, but dungeons on the expert queue? we have been playing the same dungeon for 6 years

    dunno why lvling dungeons are harder than endgame dungeons on this game

    people doing wall to wall pulls since the first day with artifact gear and white jewelry is not fun AT ALL
