never saw it in the launcher, and I don't do that other stuff you mentioned. I don't watch fanfest, or go to fanfests, I don't do producer live letters, I didn't have a forum account till today, and haven't even read the forums or anything on them until today. So no, I was NOT aware of it. I've never seen it in loadstone (prolly missed it as I was likely looking for other things and not looking for 'news'). And frankly, I launch the launcher, and start the game, because that's all I AM interested in doing. Not spending time reading blah bl;ah banned x rmt blah blah etc. Because that is literally the ONLY garbage I see in that section. So, sorry I wasn't up to date because I play a game instead of read about it.

So with the info right on the launcher and Lodestone, how would you have liked it presented to you?
Short of slapping you in the face in game with a window you cannot click away for 2 minutes, stating it in oversized, red, bold letters, any form of spelling it out could be dismissed as "i didn't see it".
So, how?

If you are going to be a part of a MMOPRG community you may want to invest yourself a little bit in the actual community. I am not saying to join in on every single social media platform but at the very least keep up with the official website (the lodestone) for the latest news.

The only thing that they didn't do was to send you a private message that belts are going away. It's no one's fault but your own if you do not even read the news on the official site. I suggest that if you want to keep up with the news that you should read what they post on lodestone from now on.
