MCH or Bard (for someone who suffers CTS)

Which is more fun and easiest to get from 60>90 and also welcomed in groups for end game content and easiest to learn/master and low APM ?

I haven't played MCH since pre-EW 80, but unless there was a drastic reduction in the rotation, it's a machine gun on the keyboard.

Bard is much less spammy in comparison.

I hate to say it, but neither. MCH has a fairly frequent window of weaving OGCD's within alongside getting 5 shjots off when a gauge is full.

I am loving Bard now in that there is very little downtime and always something to smash.

Both are very active, and both are very easy to master - but make no mistake in thinking they are low APM.

If you were looking for something low impact, then any of the casters. RDM has a cadence with it's dualcast feature. BLM is slow but powerful and Summoner is now apparently easy AF with no complexity.

New SMN is very spammy though. Not quite as bad as MCH, but it's got its own share of oGCDs and a burst phase with Garuda.

I have non CTS wrist issues and I can play bard without any problems, but a lot of that is going to depend on how you set up your hot bars and your method of playing. I use an older style FFXI keyboard layout that lets me avoid having to touch the mouse during combat, swapping the standard WASD on the left hand for the directional pad on a 102 button keyboard on the right hand. This frees up my left hand to exclusively control macros using the main keyboard numbers, reducing the amount of movement on the wrists of both hands.

Bard and mch have high apm. Bard is harder to play the mch.. So neither really for you.

I'd Google apm charts so you can get a better idea.

    I'd recommend warrior or blm.

Warrior is low apm very chill class and great.

Blm is high dmg and low apm ez to learn hard to master but should fit the bill.

Phy Range innl general is like best for people like me with like add as I play even when I'm not pressing stuff I'm jumping and running around. Whereas on blm and to a lesser extent warrior your job is to mainly stand still.

Honestly if you want a ranged DPS that's a bit easier on your hands, go with Dancer. At first glance it looks like it has a lot of buttons, but it has very little weaving outside of your Fan Dance, and you tend to not want SkillSpeed so that your dances stay aligned with the GCD. With the revamped Improvisation and En Avant, it gives you quite a bit of forgiveness for mechanics as well.

I haven't played much BRD but I do main Machinist. It is very much fun and mobile and everything can be used on the move, but as others have pointed out, it's heck on your fingers. Possibly the busiest class from what I hear, so may not be good for your Carpal Tunnel. You can always try it and see how it goes, just offer a fair warning.
