The join date is just for forums, it starts when you post for the first time.Your, 'Join Date,' says December 2021 so... I'm not inclined to believe you've been playing since before ARR. I might be wrong, maybe that join date is for when you started posting on the forums, but mine is April 2015, which is when I joined the game itself. I don't think I started using the forums until a few months afterwards.
Anyways, passing that over, if you're so unhappy with the queue times, perhaps you should consider cancelling your subscription and finding another game to enjoy? FFXIV will be here when/if you wish to return.
This account started at the tail end of HW so late 2016 but my first post was in 2018.

Your character can be found in database, but OP's character is no where to be found
This only means the account is freshly created within a month where database yet updated
I love the "suddenly" people migrated to ff14. No sweety, they migrated with asmonbolg and rest of main wow ex fanboys in june. Thats over 5 months ago. SE and "god"yoshi had tons of time to adress future capacity problems.

Its so funny how people still have the nerve to talk about chips and shortages. You do know SE could just rent already existing servers, but they're not doing it because they don't want to spend their money? But keep licking those boots, I guess, they love y'all for sure and Yoshi-P is crying right now because he cares and loves you all and he is just so hurt over this. Poor small indie company that will never get the money to help their ungrateful costumers. We should be ashamed. I, for one, want to start a fundraiser for my favorite company in the world and I won't even ask for anything in return, that's how grateful and loyal I am. Please take notes, SE haters.

You almost make it sound like SE had nothing better to do but STILL couldn't be bothered to add more servers.
In articles about the semiconductor shortage, there are quite a few that state wait-times for chips is as far out as an entire year. In an article I linked either earlier in this thread, or in another, it even stated manufacturers in Japan had been hit hard and cannot produce more right now. That's on top of shipping issues all over the world.
It doesn't matter. They aren't entitled to sell a game that people can't play because of the semiconductor shortage and do NOTHING ABOUT IT.1. There's a semiconductor shortage currently. Semiconductors take weeks to make and it's not just Square Enix that wants servers.
2. There was an unprecedented number of people that migrated to FFXIV.
You can't just ''pour a little money'' to fix the problem. You can try to queue 1-2 hours before you get home with remote access.
The free 7 days are gone and the state is the same as during the early access starting date.
You can't argue with this anymore: I AM PAYING FOR SOMETHING I AM NOT BEING ABLE TO PLAY. Square-Enix is doing absolutely NOTHING to fix this.
What should they be doing you ask? At the very least fixing the queue disconnects.

Speaking for myself (NA Player) I haven't had any Error 2002 or other queue disconnects since the last restart of the servers. That said, if you're paying for something you cannot play, then stop paying for it. Find a better use for your money. FFXIV will be here when/if you want to come back. Surely having fun with another game beats this frustration you're feeling?
I would agree with you if the monthly fee wasn't paid upfront.Speaking for myself (NA Player) I haven't had any Error 2002 or other queue disconnects since the last restart of the servers. No 5 months is not enough. It took my work 6 months to get some crappy servers. Higher end servers like what Sqaure would want for the game was projected to be a year or more, even if we offered to over pay.
