You are not required to pay for the sub. No one is forcing you. You may think SE selling a sub right now is bad, but it's not like you have no choice.

Also it's more like that the stores can't sell toilet paper right now because not enough is being produced but everyone is blaming the stores for not having it because apparently they think having money means they can make toilet paper magically appear on the shelves.
