Obnoxious FC Chest locations.

That really does help reduce the cost without having all my teleports revolve around banking. I still think that having to take a boat to another city and go back and forth between the loading screens is unnecessarily complicated and that it could be streamlined with a QoL change where u just have FC chests in all major cities. A change like this wouldn't have like deep implications either. It wouldn't profoundly change the markets and stuff. Just makes things streamline and acessible. Any city that has a marektboard and a summoning bell, definitely should have an FC Chest.

I figure there is a reason, otherwise the FC chest would be there. It's possibly because it's another connection to FC information which may not have been a great idea or possibly they WANT people back in certain cities most of the time for things.


But off the top of my head, if we're just talking "why not have one" , I can't personally think of a reason... but I have spent a lot of time figuring out the cheapest ways to get places as well as the best "free" destinations to register, so it's a non issue for myself. I'm not playing this game on second to second margins. I can afford a couple loading zones and it's not really all that inconvenient... in my opinion.

In order to purchase the GC aetheryte tickets, yes you do. In order the buy the 2k aetheryte tickets to your GC HQ. You must be the rank of First Lieutenant, and first lieutenant requires a rank 3 squadron.

General purpose (non-GC) Aetheryte tickets are far more affordable at 5 Allied seals each. You can get 100 for ARR Elite bills which were trivially soloable at 80. If you're a hardcore traveller, spin up BLU to the point where you get the weekly log.

I think that depends on your hardware. Loading screens are really bad if you have sub-par hardware. I don't necessarily think there is a reason, I think it's just an oversight TBH.

I'll look into these, although Maxxing blue still seems a little inaccessible, But the allied seals may not be so inaccessible. I'm glad people have provided so many useful and creative suggestions. Ultimately I would just like to be able to use my FC chest at any major market, and I generally think that it would be just better.

I agree with this. It is super easy, only have to do it once a week (or really whenever you feel like it after a point).

It's what I've been doing. Occasionally hit up all the B rank hunts(AAR, HW, SB), then turn all the seals you get for those into aetheryte tickets(at your GC, or in Ishgard). I haven't touched any of those hunts for over a month now, and I still have over 400 aethreyte tickets, and I use them on basically anything over 500g.

This reply seems to be contradicting itself and doesn't take any of the specifics I've mentioned in my post into account. You don't seem to understand that I'm simply asking that an FC chest be added in each major city including Ishgard, Cystarium, and Sharlayan (as someone earlier mentioned there is one in Kugane) for ease of access to people who Don't have houses. Because I find it difficult only to access FC Chests in Ul'Dah, Gridania, Limsa, and Kugane.

Inconvenient perhaps but not inaccessible.
And it's not difficult either.
Not sure what's so difficult to TP and run.
Doesn't even take a minute.
And if they were to add FC Chests in any of the other major towns you'd still have to TP and run just like you do now.
What this all boils down to is the Teleportation costs.
Not that it's either inaccessible or difficult.

I've always thought it odd that FC chests aren't in all the locations which have MB and summoning bells. For me, it's Foundation and the Crystarium that really stand out and it would be great to have chests there.

It's interesting that Rhalgr's Reach has one because that seems so random, considering the larger cities where they chose not to place them. Kugane makes sense, though.

Me too, I really think the Firmament could stand to gain one as well.
