I've already seen my DC's entire stock of certain glam items get cleaned out by a single person then sold at a huge mark-up on multiple occasions.

There are tons of absurdly wealthy people (Often through less then legitmate methods) who are richer then they'll ever need to be and choose to flaunt their wealth by making the marketboard their plaything and it's rather aggravating.

Between them and the bot farmers (Which are frequently owned by them) the marketboard inevitably ends up degrading to a point where legitimate players have a really rough time making much money outside of selling really niche items that are outside of their notice.

Thing is, I didn't see this person pop up at all on any item until around the time Cross World trading became enabled. It's not healthy (neither was the ease of Firmament to have peopel level but that's another argument entirely). But this one person alone I know bots and the ONLY thing that could be done was to take away CWT or to put some kind of limit on it. Frankly gil does NOT need to be allowed to be traded Cross World. That would be the BIGGEST thing that would hinder such actions

EDIT: I came back to say that restrictions need to be put in place on said items. Crafted on another world? World watermarks need to be imbedded into the items if they are going to continue to allow CWT. This would in turn not allow botters to run markets on every server. Would still allow friends to craft otherworld friends items. And if no gil trading is a thing then it would entirely cut out the process for botters/third party users to run every single market they can because they can
