Honestly how do normal 9-5 people even play the game at all? I get home and am looking at a 6k queue by the time I get in game I have to go to bed. I understand there are special circumstances but this is getting ridiculous, I am paying for a product I can't even use.

If you play on PC, you could use a remote desktop program to at least get yourself in the queue while you're still at work. TeamViewer is free to use and has an app for your phone. May take some trial and error with the timing, but it could help cut down on a good chunk of the waiting.

Meanwhile... Here I am getting off a 10h day (I work 9-11h a day, sometimes more pending how early I get called in to bring stuff or late I stay to handle closing etc) and when I get home at ~7pm PST / 10p EST I have a 4-5k queue, sit in it like everyone else for about 2h, play the game for 3-4h, get off, go to bed and sleep then repeat the next day.

Before you claim off peak server or etc. I play on Balmung, crystal DC. Have been here since it was Besaid in 1.0 and so I'm not on a low pop or off peak time and I and everyone else sit through that line and tben enjoy ourselves... It is only the "Vocal Minority" as the term goes that rage and throw temper tantrums like a kid whose parents took their favorite toy or refused to buy them something they wanted by making these threads.

I play on Coeurl and at 7pm EST it's like 4 to 5k, but after about 3 to 4 hours it's still in the thousands and I have to go to bed for work in the morning. I will be able to play once I get a day off, but for a solid two weeks I just couldn't play at all because of my 10 hour a day work schedule. And while I could adjust my sleep schedule to play in the morning I never get enough sleep as it is, but I just comment on the shit situation. I don't make countless threads. I just sympathize with others in my spot. I know you want to rag on them because they aren't doing what you are doing, but it is happening to a lot of people. Like I said I keep trying to play the game even though I have unsubbed and have given up on trying to play on work nights.

This is what I've had to resort to doing as well, which is a smidge annoying that it's necessary, but it does certainly work. ^_^

Trust me, there are more thing that affects and control a person's emotion, ever heard of "maturity" ?

Like, I went to work at 7am, get home at 5:30pm. Try to get on, the queue is at 7k. It has been over 2h at the time of this post, my queue is still at 2000+. And the previous Sunday I got to play for a whole 2 hour the entire day. I also probably gonna get only 2h of play time tonight at this rate before going to bed to ... gasp, wake up tomorrow and go to work again.

Yet I don't feel like raging or making hot-take topic on the forum. Is it suck? Yes. Am I displeased? Yes (so who you think you are to know that I'm ok with it?). I simply don't chose to express my emotion by throwing a tantrum on the forum. Sometime life just doesn't go your way, you just deal with it and move on.

This isn't ok, and they know it isn't and they love that all of you fanboys keep defending them instead of calling them out on this. More people need to if something is actually going to change. Nobody's happy about it but we're also aware that pitching a fit isn't going to magically change the global market so that server parts aren't already spoken for 50-70 weeks in advance. Everyone in the tech infrastructure field is dealing with this problem right now. You think Square's happy that they can't actually sell their service to new customers across three continents right now?

True, but they should have delayed the launch until they had the resources. At least I would be able to log in. Square/Enix dropped the ball on this.

Do you... do you think they went down to Best Buy and purchased the server racks the weekend before New World went live? What do you think they've been doing closed alphas, betas, and internal testing of the game on over the last four years?
