SHORTAGE NOT OUTAGE. IF THEY WANTED THEM THEY COULD GET THEM. THAT IS THE POINT.

Lmao they literally can't, nobody can.
Bolding because reading comprehension seems to be a problem for you.

You obviously know nothing about the global chip shortage. It essentially is an "outage." That's how bad it really is. Not to mention the effects the pandemic has on supply chains. It's a double problem; first the semi-conductor shortage then Covid screwing over supply lines. No one is happy with the queue times, but people can be understanding because they know how hard it is to get server hardware. It isn't a case of them needing a couple servers either, they need hundreds as each world needs tens of server machines.

For the sake of argument, let's assume they could actually get servers at obscenely higher prices. We're talking tens of millions. You do realize, from a business perspective, it's more financial advantageous for Square Enix to accept they'll lose some players over outrage than to spend that much additional money, yes? Therefore, they have no financial incentive to do this even in a hypothetical world where throwing money at the problem gets them anywhere.
"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters."
"The silence is your answer."

Provide for us where they can obtain these servers, now, that are compatible with the game currently.
That's the problem with shortage here. There's not a lot of it, and because of that, there's also a line. And as it turns out, sometimes that means there's gonna be a wait. Specially when some people get to cut that line, because their service that might need that server might be more important than your video game server (Like... A hospital, for one...).
I have given Square crap on so many things, so much... But this is not one of them. If this upsets you enough, leave, someone else will gladly take your spot in game.
