    Man I'd settle for a pair of those fancy aether-vision goggles. Four expansions of fetch quests and back-breaking, world saving labor later, I still feel like the unpaid intern.

    You can get sharlayan goggles at the gold saucer. They have a cool glow effect when you visor up. There's also a face tattoo like uriangeir you can put on and then give it that deep purple/violet color

    Yeah, but that's not the same as the goggles that several of the Scions used back in ARR. I think only Krile still carries hers now, on her sleeve.

    Intern is a little generous. We're just the weapon they reach for when something big needs killing.

    Frankly we're probably more likely to be the subject of a thesis than we are ever writing one ourselves.
