I can't say I'm too bothered, but I do wish they'd reused different sets, and made them dyeable.

The reused Neo-Ishgard could at least have been swapped around a bit, caster on maiming, healing on aiming, that sort of thing.

I'm still waiting for them to reuse the Sohm Al dungeon gear too, I want versions of those comfy looking tops that I can dye.

Expect less unique dungeon sets with the glamour dressser limitations. Makes sense to just focus on the AF sets and themed sets around raid encounters.

Possibly but there could be a reason for that, such as a plan for a future zone where such a style will be implemented.

I did. It was the expansion that gave us Samurai in robes as opposed to the type of armours we typically associate with Samurai (such as Tenzen's armour).

With games like this, not everything is 1:1 real world influence. Old Sharlayan has very ancient Greek vibes and terminology but the fashions are more Oxford University than the Agora.

I was disappointed but not enough to make a topic about it. I just hope this isn't what they'll be making into the norm going forward. We've gradually become more and more at peace with the cuts they give, so I'm curious to if this will be the cut next. First the reduction in dungeons, now a reduction in new gear. Though I suppose this did end another worry of where I was going to put all that new potential glamour gear, when I'm at the cap currently.

Personally too early to tell, so I'm not fully up in arms about this. Dyeables and shifting some of the current reskins to other jobs would've been a great idea too, someone mentioned earlier. Would've loved that pvp MNK set on my DRG.

Tldr; the situation is unfortunate but I don't find myself unable to be understanding to it, so long as we aren't cementing this as the new thing we'll do without this expansion.

Whoa whoa whoa...slow down there. Best ever? Come now...that's going a bit too far. And if you are talking about our current xpac, I HIGHLY disagree. The previous one was fantastic but this one is my least enjoyed bit of content to date. I enjoyed the last few WoW expansions better than this one here.

Regardless, even if you were talking about the previous expansion(the best FFXIV expansion by far), I'd still not grant you it being the best of any mmo in history.

Ever?based on what? I say 2.0 was a stronger one. in the past WOW did better. The strong thing for ff14 ew is the story if you are willing to over look it's problems.to me (and big part of players) end walking (game) is glam. There not much of new one at all. Not much from lvl or post game (end game). Not from events or even cash shop. Then there all the connection problems. So yes people voice what they don't like,just as yoshi Sayed he want in the past.
