    Knowing SE it'll work like this:

    We will be issued a quest for each piece of AF. "Return a specific u/u item in exchange for a specific AF piece"
    example:
    dragon skull u/u item = dragoon AF head
    dragon heart u/u item = dragon AF body
    dragon claw u/u item = dragoon AF hands
    dragon tail u/u item = dragoon AF legs
    dragon bone u/u item = dragoon AF feet.

    5 specific u/u item per piece per job x 7 jobs = 35 u/u items


    these u/u items are dropped from defeating bosses in the new dungeons (the dungeons will have multiple boss mobs)

    But get this! the drops are random and the same rate of primal weapons!

    The only saving grace will be the fact that the items first drop to our loot list, so we can trade away the items we already have. (But SE will probably just have them drop directly to our inv.)

    This is still in line with what the rep said "you'll be rewarded AF upon quest completion" you just have to get the right item to complete the quest.

    It'll be difficult, punishing , frustrating and just enough fun for us that SE will make it happen this way.

    plus we could be running these dungeons for months just to gear all 7/7 jobs. especially if we can't trade away the u/u items.

    I don't think all of it will be through dungeons. If anything, maybe one piece. Keep in mind, the rep said the quests would be 45+, which means a level 45 would technically be able to do at least one of the quests, if not more.

    The new dungeons are L50, if you look at one of Yoshi-P's letters. Not L45, like Darkhold, but L50. I think it's safe to assume you have to be L50 to enter, which means those L45+ quests can't take place inside it.

    It would be nice if it hearkens back to XI's style of AF quests.

    I think he said the dungeons were aimed for R50 players. So are darkhold/ifrit/moogle. However, the quests for all three are listed as 45+. That doesn't mean that a Lv.45 can solo them, or that it's wise to enter Ifrit or Darkhold with a full party of 45s.

    At this point in game. Any dungeons lower then R50 will be used very seldom.. Until 2.0 I hope they ONLY release R50 dungeons. Or R45+.

    I would find it odd if all 7 jobs had AF gear only gathered from the 2 new dungeons. So I figure there has to be some quests involved... Fingers crossed for something more intricate, or even FFXI-esque.

    I know I'll be really disappointed if it ends up being related to the dungeons. Kind of a cheap way of neglecting to add more content by tacking it on to something we'll already be doing for other reasons.

    Having it obtained by other means would be nice.

    I hope this is the case, this game really needs some meaningful drops to go after that will last quite a while (and not just because of some dumb personal loot system).
