Just to provide some anecdotal observations

Area 5 specially in the game has a lot of these errors for whatever reason, and occasionally Area 4 of Endwalker Zones. Areas 1-3 have been a stable experience for me so far.

Something is up with Area 4 and 5 in general.

Also DO NOT queue for Dungeons in Areas 4 and 5, I found doing dungeons outside of them alot more stable.

Also make use of the Inns to do queues; this is best thing I can offer to help people out at the moment.

Just like yesterday the connection has again been dropping pretty much constantly since at least noon GMT. And again it is the same NTT hops that seem to be the issue. The NTT hops were a problem even before the release of Endwalker but it just keeps getting worse and worse.

Is this really not enough evidence to have something done about this?

People are going to cut their subscriptions, they're going to demand refunds and they're well within their right to do so. They've paid for a service, for a product that they can't use and it isn't their fault that they can't use it. I've been playing since 2015 and I'm cancelling my subscription until there's a public announcement saying this issue has been resolved. I quite literally can't play. I can't even stay connected for five minutes. More than 30% packet loss, constant DC's, constant 9006 errors - and as everyone else has pointed out, it's the NTT hop.

It is so incredibly frustrating being so powerless to change anything that might help with these disconnects, I've started having this problem about a month before EW release and now its completely unplayable, I really REALLY hope SE does something about this cause these 90006 errors just make it impossible to play the game, the amount of packet loss is mind boggling

Unfortunately it's because most "players" white knight for the company because they love Yoshi so much.

He's a great guy, absolutely. But the business practices recently have been piss poor to the point of egregious.

They're STILL shovelling out a game built upon layers of alphabetti spaghetti code. The Launcher is barely functionable. I have never in my 20+ years of gaming in regards to MMO's encountered a launcher that will crash to the point that you have to relaunch it just to ROLL THE DICE to get in. It's pathetic.

Adding on insult to injury in regards to kind of blaming the players for their internet connection is not a good look. We as a community have been complaining about this for years.

Now the dev team just has the convienient excuse of Covid to say that the problems exist. Even though Rauhbaun EX happened wayyyyy before Covid and the server infrastructure has barely changed since then.

I've got this feeling they're only checking player connection to the Data Center and not the pile of mulch NTT. They had time and decided to do nothing now it's biting them in the ass and they're barely listening to people complaining about it for years.

Not even an apology for their own mistake,it would also be nice to let us know what they're doing about it and letting us know that yes they see what's actually going on and are working to fix it. A lot of us spent a lot of time and money in this game and would rather not have to turn their back on the game.

It would be appreciated if they could fix their issues instead of using us as stepping stone for their own inaction.

After reading a poster suggesting the Texas - Sacramento being the weak link, I found an egress node for VPN in California, while it could be random, it only has the last stretch like 4 NTT and has been stable for 8h and counting. could be random, but worth testing if you've got PIA.

That reminds me of back when 1.0 was in the open beta and the forums had lots of people posting concerns about the game(or lack there of) and far more people posted how the critisim was unfounded and the game would be super great and awesome and they were just hiding everything so it wasnt spoiled before launch... and yeah.. we all saw(or heard about if you werent there) how 1.0 was. haters gonna hate. white knights gonna ride the short bus to school
