As we all know time on 1st reflection passes much faster than on the source, that's why once we are we we find out it was 100 years ago when Minfilia stopped the flood aand our friends spent there already years before out arrival (on Source it was days/weeks max). Now we return to the 1st after quite a lot of things happening - means some time after and what do we see...? All looks the same (map/city can understand) - kids we know are still kids, Ryne and Lyna didn't age at all.. SE - now you kinda break what you said before about passage of time there, I (and guess also many other ppl) was expecting to see them after years, means kids as already grown adults, Ryne as oldie telling you that all went right with restoration of the star and so on.. So nice opportunity lost

The Exarch mentioned that it's not always faster and during our time there (5.0-5.3) it flows at almost the same speed as the source

Times -passed- quicker on the First compared to the Source which is why 100 years passed during the brief period between Ardbert being sent back, stopping the Flood and us showing up. At the start of ShB G'raha says the passage of time is in flux between the shards but at present time masses nearly exactly 1-to-1 between the Source and First. We can only assume that's continuing to be the case.

They COULD have changed it to make everyone older but I think if they did that it would be reserved for a new expac

Before what actually happened I was super worried we'd pop over to the first then come back to find a bunch of time had passed and everything had gotten way worse.

A theory of mine is that how quickly the First's time flows might be related to how quickly it's moving in relation to the Source. For example, for them, it took over a hundred years to slow down to the Source's time flow, and now that it's there, it might take another hundred years of their time before it changes again, or perhaps it will move even slower than the Source's time, eventually.
