I feel this pain. My partner and I are raising a toddler. The times we're available are only during peak-times. To that end, those times are "peak" for a reason.

I've repeatedly asked Square Enix Support to partially refund the 6-month subscription we started the 1st of November but they refuse to do so. I've offered pausing the subscription as a solution until they get the additional data centres up. That too has been refused.

We're not looking for a refund on Endwalker - we wholeheartedly love this game and would re-sub once the DCs are in better shape and we're able to actually, ya know, play. Square Enix taking our money and then failing (for whatever to reason) to provide a refund when the service we purchased is inaccessible is disappointing and indicative of, in our opinion, shady business practices.
