Thanks for ruining my day off

I finally got to log on early without the stupid queue because I had the day off, and the game decides to randomly drop my audio for no reason. Apparently this is a well-known bug that can only be fixed by restarting the client. Now I'm stuck in the queue again and the only thing I wanted to do on my time off is ruined.

A few days of game time doesn't cover this kind of aggravation. Not even close.

me and my wife got up early to play and miss the long queues. We got in and was having fun and then a transformer blew down the road and our electric flash off and back on. Now we are sitting at 2500 in queue. Stuff happens, sure it sucked but not every thing always goes they way we plan, but oh well there is always tomorrow. Can't be mad it was no ones fault. Don't let it ruin your day, there is always other fun stuff to do on a day off.

On Windows, it is possible to simply change the sound source on the task bar and then change back to fix it.

Don't even have to leave the game.

I can confirm that changing the sound source, and then changing it back, fixed it for me when my music cut out yesterday.

I can confirm that changing the sound source, and then changing it back, fixed it for me when my music cut out yesterday.

So you're saying it maybe a windows problem? Hmm does that mean the OP is blaming SE for a windows sound problem with the game?

I had to manually delete the game config files from the my games folder. Thank god for backups

Nothing to do with Windows. They just gave possible solution to fix it on Windows. While as with PS4/5 you always has to restart

Ooof, that sound smore like actual file corruption than the sound bug that has been randomly knocking out music or battle effects, but not the other, for some of us.
