yes there is, and I'll wait on it until I get in, its an expansion release and people want to play it like I do, and I have.
7 days on my sub is nice, will I take more? certainly if they offer. but the product has delivered.
In a month they won't need to do anything. Player numbers will be back down to normal levels, there won't be any significant log in queues, and they'll be in the clear for 2 years until it all happens again with the launch of 7.0
Subs do not work that way. Cancelling a sub just sets to not auto renew when your paid time runs out. So you lose the time you already paid for if you cancel and don't play anymore. Solves nothing canceling a sub.

"Wait in the queue..."
That is all great and grand but I'm getting lovely dash of 2002 while waiting and have to start over and over and over. Wired connection didn't help the problem only gets worse are more people try getting in. I've check my ping, I've check for packet lose. Everything appears to be fine on my end. Never have any disconnection issue with the game in the past 7 years.
It's been 7 days and I've played for a total of about 5 mins and have been in queue for a total of about 2 to 3 hours every night trying before I give up and go to bed. I can't login and thus can't play. When I do I get forcefully logged out. The seven days have been about as helpful to me as brown colored toilet paper. I get they are trying to fix the issue, but what about the people who are off only at "prime time" hours? Why do I get punished just trying to play? How is that fair to anyone? Like someone else said just unsubscribing when you have more than 60% of your time left is bullshit. I know I'm basically shouting at clouds here, but damn it makes me feel better.

And where did I say I was talking to you?
I swear this thread is like getting socks, an ugly sweater and a French Fry pen for Christmas. It has been 7 days now since the proverbial poo hit the fan. I think we need an announcement today on more extended game time and an ETA for a fix on the server errors (2002, 3001, etc.). The queues themselves are understandable.
As a paying consumer who cannot access the product for which I've already paid, I think that is a perfectly reasonable and fair request (though I still think they should be offering refunds for Endwalker at this point to those who want it). Hopefully we see something today.

They are going to need to do something. The queue is still unending and the #2002 errors still abound. At least, for me. It's sad to think that the people on the media tour played for more hours in 1 day than I have in 7 days.
They're.. doing things now.. have been doing things to try and solve it for a week.. so.. what exactly are you on about..?
Ah, those were the days.Is it karma when I was at the creation of Balmung? Awfully large brush to say everyone knew what they were getting into lol. Back in my day the server was called Fabul. There were hundreds of us, like... Total.. lol
That said a tip I'd share if people have the ability is to use remote desktop on your phone, or whatever (don't get in trouble at work), and login before you head home. Enjoy your dinner, spend time with wife, kids, pet, favorite chair, what have you, check the login sometimes, play a few hours, win.
It's not ideal of course, but that has worked well for me so far, as I've played a little bit everyday since release.
