Endwalker Zone Details [Spoilers]

From all the zones that Endwalker have to offer, which detail in the zones made you awe in wonder?

In Elpis:

For me since Elpis supposed to take place before recorded history, it somewhat indirectly says which creatures that are found in the present had their origin as being creations of the Ancients.

I saw for example a Morbol (I don't know what was the reasoning of approving its existence), that Vanu Vanu tribe mount (coincidentally Vanu Vanu has something to do with Allag and then the mount has some relation to Hermes) and many more that I couldn't point out exactly anymore where they were.

Elpis is clearly inspired by Chrono Trigger's Kingdom of Zeal. Strongly.

I don’t know, Elpis just feels like general paradise vibe kind of place, I didn’t see anything that said Zeal specifically, but I may have missed it. Also the creations being stuff we’ve seen kind of bugged me, I like Elpis but it’s a bit tiring to see everything be tied up to the Ancients, or the Allagans if not. Still a lovely zone.

the only things it has is common with zeal is that their both floating islands and they are both in the distant past, besides that I see little relation between them.

I was actually pretty uninterested in Elpis overall. 'Yep, paradise lab, I get it, boring'. Granted, I really don't like the Ancients as a story presence, so I was never the intended audience. In terms of story, I was impressed by Garlemald, because they didn't pull any of the punches they could have. Garlemald is kinda brutally real as a depiction of a nation that just lost a war to the very people we're representing, I didn't expect them to go there.

The REAL stunner of a zone visually is Ultima Thule. LOOK AT IT!

That would be the last zone for me. It feels so different to everything other zone, not to mention it has a very nice map theme.

Also you get to help a depressed dragon be happy again, and he calls you his friend and that made me happy.
