The only thing SE can do about the afk macro/bot folks is server restarts. They have done it in the past and I would not be surprised if they do it again. That of course creates it's own set of problems.

Like I said it creates it's own set of problems. They have however done it in the past so it is not unlikely to occur

You do realize the queue is in part created by these very same people who refuse to log out when they aren't playing, right?

Servers can only hold so many players at one time, hence the queue...

Yes and if the queue system was not so bad, and dc had a grace when you log out of the game. I would agree with your stance, but because of how badly it is coded, I can't blame players for doing what they are now.
