Yet again, commenting on matters you're not knowledgeable in. Libertarians are not all on board with one another regarding that topic. Some view it as a violation of the natural right to life. So, it's not a matter of hypocrisy, it's a matter of people such as yourself being incapable of comprehending nuance on difficult topics.
Other MMO's you can typically get passed the Start button at 5pm(CST) on a Thursday even with an expansion launch without the client crashing. This is just busted. I could get if it put you in a queue but straight up crashing the client is just really bad design.
You could put me in a 13k queue for all I care as long as the client does not crash it would not concern me but the constant crashing and relogging in just really bad. They literally cannot provide the service to their customers with it being so bad right now.
What I find insane is with all of the queue issues inside the game is running flawlessly.
No, it's a matter of principle. Which is what they lack. Rights for thy, but not for thee.Yet again, commenting on matters you're not knowledgeable in. Yet again, commenting with a lack of knowledge. The entire premise of libertarianism is that aggression against natural rights such as life, and liberty are violations. In reality, libertarians are acting on principle. Those principles just contradict your worldview
I've been playing MMO's since Ultima Online. Issues happen. I've seen my share of bad launches or large, sweeping problems for players. They're not fun and people get mad when their game is inaccessible. But I don't feel the need for them to refund me. The game servers are for the most part stable (but crowded). The big issue currently is the login servers that weren't designed to handle this kind of load. Sure, they should have addressed this sooner, but there's not really anything they can do at the current moment while they can't acquire the hardware necessary to bring more login servers online. There's just too many people trying to log in. It's like trying to squeeze a waterfall through a coffee stirrer.
The population explosion over the past few months wasn't something they could have predicted. Companies have predetermined budgets for the year where they decide how much they're gonna spend on infrastructure based on their current growth rate without overbuying equipment that won't be used. Their estimated growth model was basically thrown out the window when the streamers got mad at Blizzard and decided to try something new. And everyone followed.
It's just a perfect storm of circumstance, company planning, supply/material shortages, global pandemic, and everything else. I don't like waiting either. I pre-ordered. I've had a total of 10 hours in game since early access went live. Made it to level 82 and that's it. I haven't been able to log into the game since last Saturday. I haven't even been able to get past the title screen into the lobby to get in the queue in the first place until they rolled out the backup dev servers to stand in as login servers and apply the hotfixes. Today and yesterday are the first day's I've even been able to queue. I have a job. I can't play before peak hours because I have to make money to pay bills and live. I can't spend 6 hours a day waiting in queue to play because I have to work. But I still don't think they owe me a refund. I just hope they are able to find ways to help us play. The expansion is going to be around the next two years. We've got time to play it.
But, in the mean time, maybe it wouldn't hurt them to see if they can buy some blade servers from Blizzard. They won't be needing them.....![]()

Of which, he is direct opposition of liberty. For being the party of autonomy, they sure like to pick and choose. But yes, continue saying buzzwords while feigning this pompous postering. Sounds like that edgy kid that sat in the back of class that already knew the answers.
Liberty means you do not get to aggress against the rights of others. One of those rights being life. It's called a paradox where both sides of the argument regarding this topic have valid arguments. Which is why it is such a difficult, and often passionate, discussion. One in which you do not have the skills to engage in because you're coming from the position that only your argument can be correct. That anyone whom doesn't bow down to your worldview is incorrect. Furthermore, most libertarians don't participate in party politics.Of which, he is direct opposition of liberty. For being the party of autonomy, they sure like to pick and choose. You're out of your league at this time. And further derailing this entire thread from its game related origins.
Meanwhile, attempts to use government to pass laws that violate liberty. Oh yes, try and tell me my haves and haves not. Tell me, do you keep your pinky out while you sip on your drink, as you attempt to grandstand?Liberty means you do not get to aggress against the rights of others. One of those rights being life.
