Looks like some hardware just shat itself on our data centre pal.
Thanks for the links to the other posts. Guess it is a full-blown NA issue? Noticed that character creation is completely blocked on NA right now on the server status page.
Yeah I'm seeing complaints from all 3 NA data centres, and it looks like it all happened at the same time.
Hopefully that doesn't mean hardware failure.....we already don't have enough and they're struggling to get parts already
Ugh it's the uncertainty that kills me. If I knew the servers would be offline for the next few hours no issue I'll fill that time with something else.
Instead I expect the servers will come back up at any moment, and I won't notice that moment until the queue is back up to 7000....
Welp, I am not getting 3001 but the queue doesn't move and no matter how many times I connect its the same spot

Same. I've been at 330 in the queue for half an hour now.
Just feels like more error 3001 just with a different coat of paint. Their login server broke.

Came to the forums to find out if it was just me. I had been in que for a long time and was finally loading in when this happened. I can get to the lobby just fine, just cannot get back in the long que that I was kicked from as I was finally loading into the game. Breaks my heart a little since I had logged out long enough to run to the store (I knew I would have to wait in a que and was ok with that). I'm playing on Gilgamesh...Aether Data Center.
I have the same issue trying to get into Leviathan, was in a 4k+ queue, got to about 3k and then it looked like it pushed me in then got an error message and now every time I try to log in I get insta error 3001 back to main menu. I tried closing game and reloading client but it doesn't fix it. I'll try rebooting PC later and see if this helps but right now 3001 outright prevents people who get the error from getting in the queue much less log in as far as I can tell.
Edit: Reboot does not fix issue, suspect cause of issue must be server side.
Edit2: I tried logging in to my alt, and I got into the queue, I think error 3001 is character specific, meaning I suspect server set the character in a state where the character is considered as being logged in but when you try connecting to your character it tries to log you in because your character state is as logged in but server has no space so it kicks you out but never corrects the character state, next test I'll try is waiting 30 min to see if afk kick will solve the issue.
Edit3: afk kick test inconclusive, after 30 min I tried again, it looked like I was getting in, but then I got a 2002 error and when I tried logging in again I was back with 3001 error. I'll try afk kick test again but this time I'll start from a closed client.
Edit4: So it seems afk kick test works to get rid of error 3001, after waiting 30+ min with game closed, when I log in I get back to the normal queue. Do note it does means this error has waste a ton of my time, if you disregard my other tests which had no effect, waiting 30 min to then get back to the top of the queue is equivalent to loosing more then an hour of potential gameplay, (30 min + 30 min not progressing queue + any time already spent in queue +/- new queue position) obviously I'm not daft I know SE tried to prevent this but were unable to acquire what was needed to improve the server infrastructure. Regardless this sucks.
