The person who doesn't have a main class or character.
Tbh, the most teams are probably on a well deserved vacation.
But these, responsible for the server, are in major stress and panic mode.

Like any normal day?
I just suspect they will be doing overtime due the massive work and maintenance planning they have to do.
They can't just magically pull new servers out of their butts. So there's only so much you can do.
And let's face it, we had issues long before Covid was even a thing. Why spend a lot of money on new servers when the issue will fix itself anyway. Look at how many new servers we got (again before covid when there was no supply issues) vs the popularity rise.
From a business perspective it's not a good idea to spend a lot of money on new expensive servers when the issue will resolve itself over time.
Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.

i LOVE YOU lol"Hey, so I was bored because Endwalker finally launched and now there's nothing left to do, so I decided to browse the American forums."
"Oh really? Americans know about Final Fantasy?"
"I guess so! I was curious if they enjoy the game, and a few of them are saying they're having trouble playing."
"Ha ha, I don't doubt it. Even if they imported the disc, connecting to our Japanese servers from the other side of the planet must be rough."
"That's what I thought, but apparently there is an English-language client, with a dedicated North American server and everything! And apparently, the game is so popular that the server has reached capacity! There's currently a wait time to get online!"
"You're kidding! This is the first I've heard of it! Do you think Yoshi-P knows?"
"Hard to say. Perhaps we should tell him about it. In any case, some of the forum users had some great advice. They say we should buy another server to accommodate the extra players. One user was kind enough to link a unit they found on Amazon for about $350. I'm not sure if we can get corporate to approve the expense, but if so it could give our subscription numbers a boost as well as improve the user experience for our foreign fans across the pond."
"I don't know what to say, this is truly some outside-the-box thinking. You should definitely bring this discovery to Yoshi-P, it's going to knock his socks off! Kudos to our American players, that was really kind of them to offer their insights considering we are new to this MMO business and still learning the ropes."
"Right!? I'm going to suggest we reach out to some of these kind players and ask if they'd be interested in a career with us. Their modern ideas are just the shot in the arm we need to put our sleepy little game on the map!"
Hearing the crazys but I don't know why
Seeing the maybes but I don't know who
Hearing the crazys more and more
Noone stop LIMSAS BEATS!

Thinking about the next mount, emote and dress they'll sell on the Mogstation for 30 dollars, which they'll sell on the thousands and laughing at how they won't use the benefits to improve the servers.

Poor server administrators.
Cheers
