Fair enough, if you and yours want to keep losing sleep over long queues and 2002s go ahead.

Just so you know, fixing the code only works so much. There is a software limitation based on the hardware available. And they can't upgrade the hardware. Thus, the software suffers.

We got queue like 20h on 24 so even if we spreads throught the day the server would not be enough

Which I have brought up in multiple threads. You can't upgrade your servers because the superconductor chips got Covid? Apply stricter anti-AFK measures. Temporarily limit the playtime across the board (like in 1.0 but not dumb). We all paid for the same game yet only a few are able to enjoy it.

Queues themselves I have no problem with, that was to be expected considering they can't increase the amount of server hardware. What I can't excuse is not even being able to get through the queue at all without problems because of 2002 errors kicking me back to the desktop. It's even worse today...before the maintenance, after a 2002 error I could put my info back in and at least regain my spot in the queue...now when I get a 2002 error the queue gets larger, so it looks like I won't get to play at all until this is fixed.

I'll say it again more simply...it's not the queue that's the problem...the problem is the queue system itself being fundamentally broken.

Then they should have delayed the launch with that explanation. Period. This game was not losing its traction at all. Had they waited until the new year, we would've understood. At least I would've been able to login to the damn game. I also don't care about "how little" we're paying. We're paying for a service WE CANNOT ACCESS. This is why they ran betas. This was also what I thought they delayed the game for a few weeks back. They should have gauged: "You know what? We can't sufficiently supply our player base with servers. Let's delay a little longer until we can."

Ask anyone. They would've rather had another delay than a game they can't even play now.

this, this game isnt wow, the company isnt blizzard, they have a fanbase that understands, as long as they dont try to take us for fools, ive had others try to say "there was no data" no data? there is data on those that unsub and then resub for story content, there is data on average amount of new players based on word of mouth/ads for each expansion, there should even be data for players that play either both wow and ffxiv or leaving wow for ffxiv/following streamers like asmon over to ffxiv and liking the game, all of this is data that couldve been used well before launch, and they already postponed launch, shows they knew there was an issue with something, if they knew ahead of time and didnt want to delay again, then they should have delayed again with an explanation as to why, it wouldve been more sincere than causing crashes with releasing before servers were ready to handle the load

and now, after supposed measures were in place, it still goes down, error 90002 when in cutscene then 2002 when reconnecting, now back in queue

so from experience today it seems like the 2002 errors are happening more frequently after getting into queue and less often connecting to the data center. However I've been on a screen saying players in queue 1 for the past 20 minutes after about 3 hours of it winding down after getting kicked by a 1016 error saying world data could not be retrieved which happened multiple times and also a 3070 error that also said world data could not be retrieved...

so make it so the servers wont crash? and wont kick people out of queue while waiting? its not a hard concept, imagine paying for a season pass and getting kicked out right before you get on any ride, every time

and just like with motels and hotels, you never double book, right now it seems like thats what the servers are doing, letting too many people in at the same time, they should, again keyword is should, know exactly how many people the servers can handle, so they know where to throttle the servers, if they have to make it where its a slower trickle, so be it, if it makes it so the servers dont crash, stability above ....and just as i was typing that i got booted from the queue, but stability above all else
